What is the point of Praying?
Disciples want to pray effectively : Luke 11:1-5 "Jesus, Teach us to Pray"

Luke 11:1. (here quoted in the King James version as modern translations omit references to heaven, that God’s will be done and that we be delivered from evil). ‘And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. 2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3 Give us day by day our daily bread. 4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Old Testament believers understood that God’s power would achieve that which is humanly impossible. As we come to the end of our own human resources, so we often, out of need, allow God to move. Moreover, we learn that God’s ways are to be followed. Psalm 107.13 ‘Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. In typical Hebrew style, this is repeated (verses 19 and 28) for emphasis. The Holy Spirit is saying to us ‘get a hold of this’.

Our human will does not know how to pray as we ought so Holy Spirit intercedes for us.

Luke 18.18 ‘then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to loose heart…And will not God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry to him day and night? Will he delay in helping them?’ Prayer is a manifestation of our relationship with God. It is something we develop as we grow; it takes time. As we choose to pray so we gain spiritual strength.

Our human wisdom not enough to sustain us. Our knowledge is not enough. Our experience is not enough. So we are instructed to ask our Heavenly Father for these things.

James 1:5 ‘If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly’.

PRAYING ALTERS ME.

Prayer is as important to our spirit as food is to the body.
We stop everything else to eat. We can do likewise for prayer.
So we pray or starve our spirit.

We have to commune with God to pray. There has to be relationship. So I build my relationship with Him as I pray. Relationship is real to Him. It is a means to get us to Him.

Prayer is not about getting things from God, or twisting his arm by clocking up hours on our knees!

Matt 6:10 Prayer is that God gets His will done. That His holiness, His purposes, His wisdom is brought about on earth as it is in heaven.

When in despair or distress we cry out without reasoning. Our logic goes haywire; we cry out for help. Mark 10:47 when a blind man ‘heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout out and cry ‘ Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me’.

One Purpose of Prayer is to reveal God’s presence, His ways and His acts in us and about us to others. Ps 103:7 ‘He made known his ways to Moses, and his acts to the people of Israel’.

Through prayer relationship with God we grow (spiritually) into His likeness by our response to Him. God’s order reveals His character and His grace.

Gods permissive will is what He allows. For example, God’s order is:
No sin; no suffering; no sickness; no limitations and no death.
His permissive will allowed us to be born, and keeps us for the sake of His love for us.

We come into His order - His ways - His character by being obedient to Him. Not by our own efforts, but by submission to Him in His strength.

John 14:13-14 ‘Ask in My name’ means to ask in Him and through Him.
As we grow into His character, becoming more like Him so His nature grows in our hearts.
In maturity we will not manifest two different streams of flowing water.
So we pray in accord to His life style; not our nature but His nature.

When we feel strong in our old self we feel we do not need to pray.
Our emotion rules over the Word of God through our feelings.
It is often when we are feeling powerless that we do what He says.

Our feelings can stop us praying as well as urging us to pray.
We act or react to where the self will get its’ greatest reward.

John 15:7 ‘If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask what you will and it will be done for you’.

Is our will at work in conjunction with the Fathers?
Is our will at work in what we are praying?
We ask according to the way we live, not only when we are praying but at other times also.
James 5:16 ‘The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective’ is a call to live righteously. The prayers of a righteous man mean a lot to the Lord.

The New Testament view of a Christian is that the Son of God is revealed in his life. Prayer nourishes and strengthens that life.

1 Pet 5: 7 ‘Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you’ and Phil 4:6 ‘ in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God’ both encourage us to refuse to be fearful, to worry or be anxious.
These things make us into self conscious people instead of God conscious people, and they cause us disturbance in our prayer life before God.
God is always with us to help us.

Prayer changes me, because in His presence things happen to me that are for my good.
It helps me relate to the one I pray to, the one I pray for and the one I pray with.
It is Spiritual communication.

When praying love rises in the heart. A man in love has a person on his heart. But the love in the heart changes the view of circumstances. Praying alters the view and faith rises and things change.

Watch and Pray

Praying is simple /easy. Children can do it. It is no effort.
He does not answer according to merit, or on the grounds of self effort. He does not respond in proportion to the time we spend in prayer.

We also have the help of the Holy Spirit and Jesus:

Heb 7:25 ‘he always lives to make intercession’. Jesus intercedes for us with the Holy Spirit.
Rom 8:27 34. ‘the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God’. Romans 8.34 ‘ Christ Jesus, who is at the right hand of God, intercedes for us’.
Romans 8.26 ‘’the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words’.

It is because of Gethsemane and Calvary that we can be bold to enter the Holy Place where all prayer is answered.

Mark 14:32-40 The agony of Gethsemane was not just the agony of the man Jesus but the agony of God as man, God in human flesh.
An agonizing body soul and spirit asked disciples to "Watch and pray with me".

Disciples were asked to watch and pray. Be aware of others around you when praying together. Jesus told them to watch while He prayed. They did not, so He then asked them to pray also.
Pray that you do not fall into temptation.

Watch = look and see what is happening, such as signs of the times.
There are times when we have to wait for the circumstances to be prepared for us by the Lord.
We must be in God’s timing as well as His will. For example, Paul (Galatians 2.1) waited fourteen years to return to Jerusalem with Barnabus.
Resting and waiting is especially for true disciples.
Luke 22:45 ‘When he got up from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping because of grief’. Their master (verse 44) was in anguish, and the disciples were full of sorrow thinking what could happen, instead of what Jesus had said would happen. This represents a stronghold we must be aware of in our lives. We must keep our eyes on Him, watching and waiting for Him, our friend, Saviour, helper and Lord.

He did not reveal all things to all of the disciples, only to those who chose to be close to Him -Peter, James and John.
Gethsemane showed them that their flesh was weak.
He took the three to see the agonizing of His humanity at Gethsemane. To see the unveiling of the depths of His Human heart.
(Also at the Mt of Transfiguration they saw God’s glory).

John 12:27 ‘Now my soul is troubled. And what should I say – ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it is for this reason that I have come to this hour’. Jesus knew the pain of the soul, sorrowful unto death. He knew what it was to agonize in prayer.
He has been through it for us, so He can help us, and we can help others.
Prayer is easy for us when we see what He went through, that we might be free to pray for others. He saw the end result.

We must be aware that w do not see all things clearly. 2 Corinthians 3:14-16 the veil of the old life remains, yet it is lifted in Jesus. v 17-18 Liberty where the Lord is. We have freedom from the old life of doubt and unbelief. Watch out for the materialistic way of life in prayer. James 4:3 ‘ You ask and do not receive because you ask wrongly, in order to spend what you get on your pleasure.’ We have to ask with the right motives to receive. We can not allow our old life to effect our new life in Jesus Christ. Selfish prayers do not please our Father.

Matt 4:1-4 The devil tempts Jesus with ‘Look to your own needs Jesus’.
Jesus could turn stones into bread. He fed 5000 at the appropriate time.
Who are you in Jesus?

v 5-7. The devil’s temptation says ‘do something supernatural, show them who you are’.
Likewise we must watch the lure to destruction. Signs and wonders must come from right motives. There has to be righteousness and holiness in our motives. Our motives need to be for others needs.

v 8-10 Do not test God in prayer, accept His will, not yours. ‘Compromise with me says the devil’. Jesus replied ‘I will serve Him only’. We must test our own spirit.

We need to be aware of what is happening in any given circumstances, or we pray
with only a little faith. Be assured of His will and The word.

Matt 17:1-12, the transfiguration, a mountain top experience. Next came the valley, faith had diminished without Jesus around.
Matt 17:14-20 The test of the mountain experience came in the valley.
We have to walk and pray on earth according to what we see in vision on the mountain top.
Jesus’ level of faith was constant wherever He was. He was simply in the Father’s will. In contrast the disciples had faith.

Matt 26:35 Peter’s heart for Jesus was good. He would have done anything for Him. But he did not really know Him. He failed to see the Kingdom of God. He failed to watch and pray.

Be aware of being lifted up above our faith level or gifting. When we get success in answered prayer we feel that it is always expected of us. We then struggle to prove ourselves instead of God. Remember it is Him in us as Master.

Habakkuk 3:1-2 ‘Lord I have heard about you and I fear’ is an Old Testament look at God, about an earthly people in an earthly setting. The New Testament view is based on relationship with Jesus, a heavenly state of mind in a heavenly people, on earth.

Waiting – In Old and New Testament = standing under. Actively enduring. Active strength until it comes. Eagerly seeking, looking over the horizon for it to come.

Like the watchmen of old, if you are waiting, keep looking.

Armour on for Prayer

Eph 6:12-19 ‘For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armour of God so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand therefore and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.’

Jesus paid the price for us to come into the presence of God in prayer by His work and obedience in Gethsemane and on the Cross. The cost was great for Jesus. It is easier for us because of what He did for us. I Cor 6:20 ‘For you were bought with a price’. He made the way for us.

Paul here in Ephesians teaches us our need to put the whole armour on for prayer. Why? Because the enemy wants to stop prayer. He recognises it as his battleground. The devil’s strategy is firstly to stop us becoming Christians, then to stop us receiving the Holy Spirit, and then to stop us functioning. He can make prayer seen hard of difficult; he prays on our human weaknesses. We have to overcome our laziness in prayer. With our armour on we are more aware of the realm of the spirit. However, if we are not in a right relationship with our Father or each other, the armour can feel heavy. If we sit down or relax, it can be hard to get back up. Therefore not only do we put the armour on, but we never take it off!

James 4:7 ‘ resist the devil and he will flee from you’ tells us to stand and resist him, which implies that he attacks us. Indeed, the weapons of our warfare in Ephesians 6 are all defensive weapons. We are not told to attack the enemy unless He shows himself.

Rom 8:37 ‘we are more that conquerors through him who loved us’.
A conqueror is one who fights (wrestles) and wins.
More than a conqueror is one who wins with hardly a battle.

Most of our prayer life is fought within the realm of the spirit. This is not motivated by intelligence or power or organisation etc but by God’s Spirit.

We must take up the armour in prayer. It is not automatically given. We have to choose to receive it and to keep it. It is always on if we are always in an attitude of prayer and in righteousness.

Once we have claimed ground by faith and prayer, it has to be held by faith. This is a relationship issue between us and the Father which is one of the main targets of the enemy. There will be an attack of doubt upon any move of faith. We must learn to doubt our doubts! If we believe and do not doubt, we will receive.

In Gethsemane Jesus did not go and do, but watched and prayed. We must be guarding our spirit. Obedience brings the blessing of strong armour with no vulnerable chinks.

Do you have your own armour on?
Is your relationship right?
Do you have the right motives?

If you can say ‘YES’ then prayer has no snares; you have the answer.

As we say ‘Yes’ to God in all things, so he does to us. Matt 7:2 ‘the measure you give will be the measure you get back’ .

Armour of God

This is a spiritual armour, but we must never allow ourselves to belittle it. It is not something that we should put on each morning, for there is no need to ever take it off. But we do. A little lie or unforgiveness, for example, will mean we need to come before God in repentance in order to restore our breastplate of righteousness. No doubt we would not think twice about ensuring our armour is intact when we are going into a pre-determined prayer battle. But we must beware complacency. Especially in these moments we may drop our guard. This is beautifully illustrated in the history of Sardis (Revelation 3). Sardis was built with an Acropolis on the summit of a hill. The path up to it was known only to the locals. The people were confident that they were safe from the enemy when they retreated to this protective place. Twice in history it is recorded that the watchmen were complacent and off guard, possibly even sleeping on duty. Twice they dropped a piece of their armour. Twice they went down the path to retrieve it, so giving away the route by which they were to be defeated. A moment of lapse can be the downfall for many. The lesson of the Persian victory of 549 BC was not learnt, and repeated by the Greeks in 218 BC.

Let us heed this warning. The spiritual battle is real.

Eph 6:16-17. With the helmet and shield of faith we guard our minds from the fowls of the air that seek to take away the thoughts given to us by the Holy Spirit. The shield of faith deflects the blows the enemy attempts to inflict upon us.

The Lord searches our hearts to see what our desire is. We have the mind of Christ. The Holy Spirit searches into all things, to bring the will of God into our minds and spirits.
1 Cor 2:10-13 ‘For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God…’
Our spiritual thoughts give rise to spiritual deeds. Only that which is born of God can please God. If the root is holy, the fruit will be holy. Conversely, worldly thoughts provide a doorway for the enemy to enter in by. Worldly thoughts of sin need to be taken captive. We must train and discipline ourselves to have Godly thoughts so God and His word can dwell richly in us.

Eph 6:14. We need the belt of 100% truth firmly in place, for everything else hangs on it. Truthfulness will always defeat the lies of the evil one. Real truth is knowing who we are in Christ.

Eph 6:14. As our breastplate of righteousness is seen by others, so it will cause them to stand back and take stock – what do we have that they desire? We will become the light on the hill to show the way to Jesus, moreover, ‘the righteous are as bold as a lion’ Proverbs 28.1. We must sit upon the righteousness of Jesus Christ, for on our own ‘We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy cloth. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away’. Isaiah 64.6. The gospels serve to show us that of all men, only Jesus Christ was righteous. Not one of his 12 disciples were righteous. Righteousness is beyond the reach of natural man, but is ours in Christ.

Eph 6:15. The shoes of peace are a tremendous weapon in an argument in a crucial situation. They also lead us into victory.

Eph 6:17. The helmet protects the head and ears. It is to protect that which the Spirit has placed within us – speech, songs of praise, assurance, the Spirit in our minds. It protects us from anti-biblical words and thoughts.

Eph 6:17. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God; the word He speaks to us in any given situation. This particular Roman sword Paul envisaged was used not to stab to kill, but to deflect blows from the enemy. As we speak the word of God, so doubts are defeated, fears overcome and the enemy flees.

Rom 13:12 calls us to ‘lay aside the works of darkness, and put on the armour of light.’ Not only does God hear our commands and prayers, but so does the demonic world. We must therefore have the armour that God has given to us in place as our defence.

Isaiah 58:8 ‘the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.’ The armour of Ephesians 6 does not cover our back. The Lord does.

Members of The Church and the demonic forces are already at war.
Paul fought against :

• Satan inspired Jews
• Vice and violence - Judaism.
• Divination
• Fanaticism (in the Galatians over circumcision).
• Contentions.
• Agnosticism (among the Ephesians).
• Fightings without / fears within.
• Law of sin and death working in his own flesh.

Eph 6:18 encourages us to be constantly alert in prayer. Most prayer strategies are – armour on – pray in the Spirit (with the mind of Christ) – use the armour to deflect the blows of the enemy (stand firm).

Eph 6:19 ‘Pray also for me, so that when I speak, a message may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel’. Speaking the gospel and speaking prayer are both acts of faith ‘so that through the church the wisdom of God in its rich variety might now be made known to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places’ Eph 3:10.

We can trust Father God to always do abundantly, according to His power that works within us.

Praying in the Spirit

1 Cor 2:1-13 What does it mean to move in the Spirit.
It is allowing a constant, effective influence within our hearts,
whereby we are directed and enabled to do more than we could ask or think.
To walk in obedience to God's word, freely and joyfully.

Praying in the Spirit is a weapon of precision, it will always hit the target.
It is effective deep into the realm of darkness.
Tongues. It touches the highest heaven.

We are of the Spirit of God, so all that we do is/should be done in and through the work of the Holy Spirit. Conscious of Him.

Not led by various impulses from the soul of ideas that flood into the mind.
The blind have to be led, not carried. Walking then able to be led.
No walking by the Spirit cannot lead.
So start to pray and He will lead.
Phil 2:13 for God is at work in us for His good pleasure.
By His Spirit. For His purposes.

Peace is a result of this relationship. Trust - Faith.
Gal 5:22 Fruit of the Spirit. Love -Joy -Peace. to God.
Patience - Kindness - Goodness - Gentleness. to others. Self Control to you/me.
v 25 if we live by the Spirit - also walk by the spirit.
Praying in the character of God's Spirit.

Faith in Jesus = produces love
Love for Jesus = produces faith, and draws us together by His Spirit.
Relate to Jesus - others - will relate rightly to self.
We have need of knowing our own self, before we can fully know His leading.

1 Pet 4:11 Whoever speaks, let him speak the utterances of God,
By the strength given. Not struggling or striving.
Matt 25:15 Talents given. Gifts given. To his own ability.
He does not expect more than we have been given.
Our ability is His expectation.

1 Cor 2:11-12 spiritual thoughts with spiritual deeds.
Eph 4:23. be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
1 Cor 14:15 mind and spirit. A right time to pray in tongues. Pray in natural language.
Eph 6:18 Pray in the Spirit - understanding
Wisdom - council - strength - fear of the Lord
Righteousness - faithfulness. His character.
2 Cor 3:17 There is liberty. No pressure or striving.
Rom 12:2 + 11-12 Mind and spirit devoted to prayer.

1 Pet 4:7 Be sober in spirit for the purpose of prayer,
not unruly, wandering all over the place.
Order on Order. Line on line.
But, if the Holy Spirit says, do all that He asks.
Col 4:2 Keep alert, with an attitude of Thanksgiving.

1 Thess 5:16-25 Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing
Rejoice some more. Give thanks for this is Christ's will for you.
Prayer has its wings clipped without thanks.

Acts 12:5-12 Paul in prison. People praying at Mary's house.
He was led to the place the people were praying.
They were in the spirit but did not know that God had set Paul free.
James 4:5 He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us.

So pray according to His word and His will :-
Forgiveness of sin.
Increase of knowledge, understanding in the realm of the spirit. Wisdom etc.
Opportunities to witness.
Courage - boldness - Strength to do His will.
Give thanks. Pray for the fruit of the Spirit.
Divine appointments.
For Jerusalem.
Go through the concordance. Look up pray.

He will always answer positively
2 Cor 12: 7 Pauls thorn in the flesh was for added power.
He received more power from having the thorn than he would with it.
Can we trust Him like that?

So why do we not let the Holy Spirit do all the praying for us?
1. We build relationship with God in prayer, He wants to relate to us.
2. The Holy Spirit only prays in the hearts of those who choose to pray.
He searches the desires.
3. God has told us to pray.
4. The Holy Spirit is helping us in our praying. Our Helper.
John 16:13 to lead into all truth.

1 Chron 28:9 The Lord looks into the heart to see the motive.
The Spirit wants us to have the right motive to receive the prayer request.
1 Sam 16:7 Lord looks at the heart.
For out of the heart comes forth the reality. Heart -Spirit-Life.

The Watchman

All disciples should be prayer warriors and watchmen. Prayer warriors are like a dog with a bone – have a good gnaw, bury it, then later dig it up and gnaw again. So with the prayer warrior – he has the tenacity to pray something through to completion, but not necessarily on a regular daily basis. The watchman is one who guards, protects, maintains something, by warning others and by his own prayer as seen in Jeremiah 31.6 ‘for there shall be a day that the watchmen on Mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise and let us go up to Zion to Jehovah our God!’

The watchman peers into the distance to observe and keep watch, waiting for friends to arrive, or warning of the approach of the enemy. The trained watchmen of old could recognise who was approaching the city by the dust churned up by their mode of transport 2 Kings 9:20 ‘And the watchman reported, saying, He came up to them, but does not come again. And the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.’

Babylon (Daniel Chapter 5) had walls 87 feet thick and reputedly 350 feet high. Stationed at the 250 towers on the wall would have been watchmen. However, let the warning of complacency be taken, for although Babylon was besieged by the Medes and Persians, the inhabitants felt secure, for the drawbridges were up leaving a moat filled by the river Euphrates around the city and the walls impenetrable. They had provisions for several years within the city of 225 square miles. Yet in their festivities to foreign gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and stone the people did not reckon on the judgments of the God of Israel as they defiled the Lord’s sacred vessels. The watchmen not only failed to observe the draining of the river Euphrates and consequent way made for foot soldiers to enter the city and Palace, but failed to recognise the enemy within their own Palace (the worship of foreign gods and contempt for the True God and His ways). Let the watchmen of today remember to look within their own professed ranks to see the enemy at work. May the true people of God hear and heed the warnings wherever they may be.

‘Watchmen’ also means one who preserves or hedges something about as with thorns ‘I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will not always be silent all the day nor all the night; you who remember Jehovah, do not be silent’ (Isaiah 62.6). This specifically refers to the protection offered by prayers in response to needs. As we observe the signs of the times so we have a responsibility to pray with understanding which may not be granted to so many people. It is a privilege to be used of the Lord in this way, but it comes with a price, just as in the natural there is a price in our bodies as a soldier lays in wait for an enemy. To be a watchman is at times to be sleepless (how often may we be awoken to pray during the night) and constantly on the alert. Jeremiah 31:28 ‘And it shall be, as I have watched over them to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so I will watch over them to build, and to plant, says Jehovah.’ The Hebrew word here for ‘watch’ is ‘shaqud’ meaning to be alert, sleepless – to be on the lookout. How comforting to know that we are following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ as we make our personal sacrifices to be watchmen for the body of Christ.

The watchman has to be in a vantage point or high place in order to ‘look out’. A watch tower can be at home, school, church, town, area or country etc. Today, we must also think globally.
2 Kings 9:17-21 ‘And a watchman stood on the tower in Jezreel. And he saw the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Jehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meet them, and let him say, is it peace?’ As we see suspicious events occurring or in preparation, we have a responsibility to ask ‘is it peace or is it in accordance with God’s will? We may have to research what we see, and ask others, especially the Holy Spirit. We must lay everything alongside the word of God our plumb line and pray blessings on that which has come from God, and pray protection and sound the warning for all else. We must remember our responsibility to warn, for if the watchman does not, the blood is upon his hands and it will be accounted to him in the judgment of our works.

The prophet Ezekiel was also called by God to be a watchman. Eze 3:17 ‘Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the Word of My mouth, and give them warning from Me.’ This was not in contradiction to his role as a prophet, but a refinement of it. Likewise with us disciples and people of prayer. We are all called to do our little bit in the areas over which we have responsibility and influence. It is a responsibility on our shoulders, for God gives us warnings that we must heed in prayer.

Watchmen are called to be prayerfully alert, and to report what we see. Isa 21:6 ‘For so Jehovah has said to me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he sees…And let him listen, very attentively.’

Watchmen may cause the body to perceive a new battle ahead; being prepared in advance may hasten victory. 1 Cor 14:8 ‘For also if a trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself for the battle?’ The watchman must have built up a trusted relationship with those in spiritual authority, so their voice will be heard. Leadership then has a responsibility to test and act on the word. Submission to leadership is a key to victory for the body in question, obviously with sensitivity to the exact nature of the situation. For example, a household warning is the responsibility of the head of the household rather than the pastor. Similarly, an issue effecting, for example, a school where parents or pupils pray is firstly the responsibility for the leaders of that group. Each praying individual and praying group has a responsibility to watch with spiritual awareness, and to listen to what the Lord is saying in the situation so that we have spiritual understanding. Hab 2:1-3 ‘I will stand on my watch and set myself on the tower, and will watch to see what He will say to me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And Jehovah answered me and said, Write the vision, and make it plain on the tablets, that he who reads it may run. For the vision is still for an appointed time, but it speaks to the end, and it does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it; because it will surely come. It will not tarry.’

It is certainly good practice to record our experiences, although we do not all find this easy at the time. Looking back on answered prayer increases our faith and encourages those who come after us. It also serves as a reminder for the future – how quickly we can forget the battle, especially when results are not immediately evident, or we get distracted. Moreover so often there will be ongoing prayer battles, and those requiring us to wait for God’s perfect timing. As we pass on our spiritually discerned thoughts, prayers, prophetic actions, so we maintain the necessary momentum for ourselves and others. It seems to be an observed fact that success in prayer, often by the few, will encourage many more to join. Success breeds success. As Nehamiah said (Neh 4:19-22 And I said to the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, far from one another. In whatever place you hear the sound of the trumpet, gather there to us. Our God will fight for us. And we laboured in the work. And half of them held the spears from the rising of the morning until the stars appeared. Also at the same time I said to the people, Let everyone with his servant stay inside Jerusalem, so that in the night they may be a guard to us, and labour in the day.’) the work of re-building was to be shared, so no one would be over burdened. This calls for localized strategy and organization as we act in prayer, be it a city-wide initiative or an informal gathering of friends.

We must depend totally on our Lord who is our perfect watchman. Psalm 127:1 ‘Unless Jehovah builds the house, they labour in vain who build it; unless Jehovah keeps the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.’ Not all of the ‘good ideas’ we have will be ‘God ideas’. We must learn to lean and depend on God the whole time, or we will be our own time wasters. We may also make problems for others to sort out. Let us never think we can do the Lord’s work for Him! God’s direction and timing are paramount in all activity undertaken in His Name.

Watchmen, by nature, are not always popular people! By nature and calling they are looking out for danger, so may appear to be negative people. Obviously, a calling, be it on ones’ life, or for a particular episode, brings a need to speak out loudly. Perhaps in the business or festivities of normal church life, the warning will not be popular. Isaiah 62:6 ‘I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will not always be silent all the day nor all the night; you who remember Jehovah, do not be silent.’ . As we have already said, blood is on our hands if we remain silent!

In the New Testament watchman are found watching over the church in prayer, as did Paul for example (Eph 1:15-23; 2 Tim 1:3).

Watchmen warn of false doctrine 1 Tim 1:3-4 ‘Even as I begged you to remain at Ephesus, when I was going to Macedonia, that you might charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor to give heed to fables and endless genealogies (which provide doubts rather than the nurture of God in faith).’

Christian leaders watch over the souls of the flock, and will have to give an account for this responsibility. Heb 13:17 ‘Yield to those leading you, and be submissive, for they watch for your souls, as those who must give account, that they may do it with joy and not with grief; for that is unprofitable for you’.

Watchmen must be on guard for themselves and the body of Christ Acts 20:28 ‘Therefore take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God which He has purchased with His own blood’.

If we do not speak out against the world and its system who will? We are the Lord’s mouth-piece here on the earth in this natural realm. We can not afford not to be aware of Satan’s wiles.

John the Baptist came before Jesus to warn of His coming. Watchman and prayer warriors need to be prophetic people, praying ahead of things and being watchful for those who are not so alert.

Jesus makes intercession for us Heb 7:25 ‘Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them’ and so should we for others.

Why do we need intercession?

Ezek 22:29 God was looking for someone to stand in the gap for Him and could not find one. We need to build up the wall as a defence against oppression.

Matt 21:13 The reason for intercession is not that God answers prayer,
it is that He has said "Pray"

Isa 53:12 To intercede for those who do not know God's ways and acts.
Jesus said "forgive them Father they know not what they do".

Heb 7:25 He intercedes for those who draw near to God through Jesus.
Prayer is Gods work through us.

Rom 8:26+34 The Spirit of God intercedes on earth. This is the Spirit of interc ssion.
Jesus intercedes in heaven. The same spirit is within Him.
The same spirit is within us, so all are intercessors.

1 Tim 2:1-8 It is commitment to God's calling. It is in answer to His calling.
A selfless love. Your intercession cannot be mine.

1 Cor 3:9 We are fellow workers with the Lord.
We are to act as God’s mouth-piece, to direct the word or power as deemed necessary by His leading.

Who should intercede?
Those who are His true disciples.
Those who know that they are called to pray.

Psalm 24:3-4 Those with clean hands and a pure heart.

2 Chron 7:14 Those who have humbled themselves before God.

Ecc 4:9-12 A person on their own is alright, but two or more are better.
The Holy Spirit is the instigator of all prayer.
Fear of the Lord - Love of the Lord.
Matt 11:30 Bearing the burden. My yoke is light.
He gives strength for the things He desires us to carry.

Exod 32:11 Moses entreated the Lord for the Israelites.
32:31 Again he interceded for them.

Praying from revelation.
God answers the prayers that He has inspired.

Amos 7:1-6 He prayed and God changed His mind.
Jonah 3:10 He changed His mind over Nineveh
James 5:17-20 Elijah prayed 1 Kings 17:1 no rain for three and a half years.
Saved a nation.
2 Chron 20:5-12 Enemies encamped about them and Jehoshaphat
prayed and God spoke assurance and won the battle for them.
Being aware of the things that would block the work of the Lord in someone’s life, or some kind of situation.

Standing in the gap for those who do not understand the battle of the soul and spirit or the spiritual realm.
Standing for those who are oppressed by the devil.

To those that much has been given much will be expected.

Luke 23:34 Standing in the gap for the lost. They know not what they do.

Standing in the gap for the nation. Only the wisdom of God can save a nation.

Psalm 122:6 Standing in the gap for Israel. Peace for Jerusalem.

The Power of the Kingdom of God

Therefore we are called as His disciples to show forth the Kingdom of our God.

1) royal power, kingship, dominion, rule…having the right or authority
to rule over a kingdom
This Kingdom within has to rule and it has to stand over the Kingdom of evil.
Do you want to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God…His way of life?

It first has to be alive in us, then it can manifest itself in our lives.
Its purpose in being in us, is for it to flow from us. Jesus is our example.
Is His Kingdom alive in you? It is a faith life therefore the righteous shall live by faith.
There is royal power in your life… there is a ruling over everything that is ungodly.

Israel…is the land and the people. Translated commonwealth…land and a people.
It is God’s Holy Land…does not look like it from mans point of view, it does to God.
There is a place to dwell, within Israel, for God’s people with Jesus as their King.
Zech 2:8 …the apple of My eye…God’s eye is there…over the people and the land.
Israel cannot be anywhere else can it?
The Kingdom of God is a dwelling place within us, it is the dwelling place of the King…Jesus.
It is a Spiritual place with a spiritual rule and reign…with Him on the throne.
Nothing can touch this Kingdom, where Jesus rules.
Only our reluctance to allow it to manifest can stop it from ruling.
He will not over-rule our will…the choice has been given to us to submit or not.
This Kingdom within is a place for us also to dwell in…with Him.
It is a place for His personality to be seen and related to.
It is of the Holy Spirit, so is a Holy place and we are to live within this ruling character.
With us being in Christ and Christ being in us…is being in His Kingdom.

Rev 21:1-11
Now let us consider the New Jerusalem as a bride coming down out of heaven.
The old has to pass away and the new will come…the old earth will go and the new will come.
Does this sound familiar for your own life. The old had to die that the new may come.
A new heaven and a new earth, a new Jerusalem of people and a place where we are as one person with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. John 17 in answer to Jesus prayer.

Israel…a people and a place…The New Jerusalem a people and a place.
The Kingdom of God within is personality and a place…we are a people with the personality of God.
Israel cannot be Israel outside of Israel.
The Kingdom of God cannot be outside of us. Until He comes again.
The New Jerusalem cannot be brought here until the old earth has gone.

Heb 8:1-2 a temporary tabernacle is set up for now…
The NJ is a temple created by the Holy Spirit…it is a place for the people of God.
A place for His family…who are like Him…born of Him.
A people who manifest His character that rule over evil…loves and lives the truth.
We do things His way…have the life of Christ within and show forth His creation, The Kingdom of God.
Jesus came down to the earth…came down out of heaven, like the NJ will.
A prepared place for us to dwell in…the same as the living, life giving Kingdom already here in us to be lived.
We live by the power of this Kingdom…it produces power to rule, the person who rules within us has the power and imparts it to those who are willing to accept it.

Only those who have the Kingdom of God within shall be part of the bride…the new Jerusalem. You must be born again to enter heaven. John 3:3
One has to be born again…born of the Spirit to enter this spiritual place.
It is done in a spiritual way by a spiritual life given and accepted by the One who has made a way for us to enter.
He went before us to make a way… to the new life. Wow…what a Friend.

We are being prepared for His coming, will He find faith in our hearts when He comes?
Have you entered by faith into this Kingdom of His, that is already here in you and me?
Will He have found something of His Kingdom manifest in each of our lives?

Matt 6:10 Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done. It has come…is His will being done?
It came at Pentecost in the character of the Holy Spirit poured out onto believers.
Did it manifest itself in the world through them?
Luke 10:1 and the Lord sent out 70 others to take forth the Kingdom to be an ambassador for the Kingdom of God. v17-21 Jesus’ reaction to His rule being seen was that He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit.

What did HE tell His disciples to do…
Luke 12:28-34 seek first the Kingdom of God,
and its character…righteousness…then all these things will be added to your life.
Are you seeking the Kingdom of God first in every situation?

Believers say to me…how do I do it David?
You talk to Him…relate to Him…allow Him to change your heart, your mind, your life
Listen to Him, respond to His calling, respond to His Word and His Spirit.
Live as a spiritual person more than you would seek the way of the world.
Do not act like the world does…live like Christ…pray and seek His way for your life.
Submit to His ways… stand firm for Him…do not deny anything He asks of you.
Resist the devil and his ways…quickly repent and forgive when hurt or rejected.
Love Jesus with all of the heart and proclaim the Lord is the answer…
And then you will know that the Kingdom of God has been manifest in your life.
Trust and obey for there is no other way…to be happy in Jesus.

You will see the New City…because you will be part of it.
The old city is nice to see…but the new one…wow.
Will you stand with me in proclaiming the Kingdom of God?
It is for us to help each other so lets pray for each other.

The Anointing of the Spirit

Anointing is the “plus” that God alone can give.
Vision is merely hope with a blueprint, a strategy for baring fruitfulness.
We can better our future by confronting the past.

The Definition of Anointing:
To smear, anoint, spread a liquid, properly to stroke, to draw the hand over, to paint
a) (Qal) 1) to smear 2) to anoint (as consecration) 3) to anoint, consecrate
b) (Niphal) to be anointed. To consecrate (set apart, make holy), to sanctify them to minister as the Lord’s priests. To spread over with anything especially to lay colours on anything, especially to anoint with oil, a shield (by doing so the leather becomes more tenacious and less pervious to weapons.

Ezek 44:15-17 sons of Levites and the sons of Zadok + v23
We can only serve people fully after we have devoted ourselves to God…He and His divine principles have to be the priority in life.
Without this in life’s understanding we will never know what the anointing of the Spirit is.
The anointing is released from within by the power and personality of the Holy Spirit.
With the knowledge of the inner power of the Holy Spirit one can then be in-tune with this part of God’s character and power.
Anointing is owned and released to the degree that it corresponds with God’s divine sense of purpose for us.

Psalm 45:3-7 Oil of gladness above thy fellows
It was the alive/olive oil that blended all the ingredients together to make the
anointing oil complete. Herbs blended. Sweet and bitter together.
Anointing increases in the olive press, where our flesh is dealt with.
We do not find this comfortable but we have to allow God to deal with our flesh so that the anointing can flow more freely.

Anointing oil was first used to protect against sunburn. Any manifestation of God’s anointing will therefore bring healing, comfort and protection.
We must be aware who’s anointing we are working in – are we promoting genuine Godly intimacy with peace, comfort and healing, or seductions of intellectual philosophies (Babylon) which is a watered-down version of God’s word… Satan will often counterfeit what God does.

Gethsemane means wine-press which was costly to Jesus.
There is a cost (commitment to pray) to bring the release for many.

A willing submission to the character of the Holy Spirit will bring a sweetness of God, the love of God, and the peace of God flowing through your soul out to others.
It is only the grace of God that can produce this anointing, and that is to be released through the inner dwelling of His Spirit.
There is a grace anointing for difficult times (2 Corin 12:7-10)
2 Cor 12:1-9 Paul requested of the Lord for a release from difficult circumstances beyond his control. The Lord’s response was “My grace is sufficient for you”…in other words The inner dwelling presence and power of God is enough to see you through this.
The grace anointing is sufficient for all of us to come through no matter what is thrown at us.
Jesus could do nothing spiritually without the Father’s wisdom and the power of the Holy Spirit (John 5:19)

Acts 1:8 you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.
1 Cor 12:4-6 Explains to us the Holy trinity at work. The Spirit gives out His spiritual gifts, and the Lord gives forth the different kinds of ministries, the Father then creates the affects to be seen in the natural world.
He tells us to covet these kind of gifts and anointing (1 Cor 12:31 + 1 Cor 14:39)
This is not a negative type of coveting but a pure heart desire for good.
This is co-working with the full character of God and brings forth fruitfulness.

Psalm 2:2-12
Your anointing to serve Him will be greater blessed by allowing that anointing to flow from the head over the body onto your own vision for your spiritual life.
We cannot say that we can do without the body of Christ or God's anointing.
Because there is a battle against the anointed ones of God, and standing together is essential to see success in ones life.

King David had three types of anointing from the Lord.
1st was before his brothers 1 Sam 16:1 + 12-13
2nd was before the tribe/house of Judah 2 Sam 2:4 + 7 +11
3rd was before all of Israel 2 Sam 5: 1-5 he was made king and anointed for the purpose. Trusting in His faithfulness for the fruit of the life lived to follow.

In summary
Knowing the anointing myself I can only encourage you to look to the Lord for the added life under the anointing, for within it there is a deeper wisdom and discernment needed for and in these end times.
Once received and experienced as part of you, your life will be the fuller for it and you will give more glory to the Lord for what He has given you. The fruit from it will be a blessing to you, your family and your church.

The Will at Work Keeping a Good Conscience

In our Bible 'our will' refers to the things that have been instilled in our consciousness; it allows our soul to distinguish between what is morally good and bad, prompting us to do the good and shun the bad, commending one, condemning the other.There are a number of scriptures which talk about the conscience, have a read of them:
Rom 9:1 bearing witness in the Holy Spirit
1 Cor 8:7 their conscience being weak
2 Cor 1:12 it speaks… can be holy or fleshly
1 Tim 1:19 keep faith and a good conscience
1 Tim 3:9 pure and clear
1 Tim 4:2 some having their consciences seared
1 Pet 2:21 there are answers for keeping a good conscience
A good conscience will help us to stand in these end times.
Conscience
In Greek the word is 'Suneidesi'.
Our conscience always tends to lean towards the greater ideal in our life, but is influenced by our childhood training and culture. We all tend to say 'This is what I believe and this is what I stand on, this has worked for me.'
Whatever becomes the greater ideal or focus of the soul or mind the conscience will be biased in that direction.
Mind
What do you put your mind to?
Whatever our mind thinks on will manifest through our words and actions.
If it is towards your desire rather than the Lord, it will lean towards decisions for fulfilment of this.
It will be drawn to the deepest desire in your life, and in that give signals to the soul and the mind. Feelings will be released in accordance to this.
The conscience can give a feel good factor, as it sits nicely with your own desire.
If the major focus in your life is your family then the conscience will lean towards it.
Take a radical believer of another faith brought up in his holy books, and his conscience will tend to lean towards His major focus, regardless of what are right morals to others.
His conscience has been trained to respond to what has become the ideal or focus of his upbringing and culture.
His conscience, like ours, can be seared by his ideal or wrong morals.
To a Christian, Jesus has to be the ideal. Not the church, not the book, not the lost, but Christ Jesus as their Lord. Nothing else can be above Him and all that He is.
A selfish person who has ideals of grandeur for self will make decisions promoting self and feel it is OK because of the greater strength of that desire, even in working with God.
What is your ideal in life? This is where your conscience will trigger your greatest morals. They will be promoted by the soul, and lead the body to obey.
We therefore cannot trust in just the leading of the conscience. Conscience is not the voice of God in us. The conviction of the Holy Spirit is.
If we choose to put the light of the truth into our lives by listening and responding to the Holy Spirit in the Word, it is more than likely that the conscience will be swayed to go God’s way rather than the world’s way. And the more the conscience leans towards the truth, the more it will trigger the correct action.
From this we learn to live from the conviction of the Spirit in our conscience rather than it acting upon its' past programming. It is being renewed in the Spirit of your mind.
The Holy Spirit will squeeze that old conscience until it conforms to the word of God and revelation of the Spirit. Until, like a squeezed sponge, good flows out of it.
When my will sees the value of a good conscience it is more than likely to follow the prompting of the Spirit rather than my own ideal.
Conscience knows the highest ideal in our lives and seeks to follow that level of programming.
We have to allow the Holy Spirit to set the mind and the will to programme the conscience or it will be led astray by our own self motivation.
The conscience speaks and the mind should receive the necessary instructions, but there is a middle voice between the two.
Reckoning (Logizomai) log-id-zom-ahee
It is called “reckoning” or “weighing up” before it gets to the mind. (Logizomai)
To impute or to take into account, To consider. To judge or to decide, to choose a purpose.
It has an interesting root word (tupto) meaning to smite, beat, to strike with a whip or fist; of mourners to smite their breasts; disquiet of one’s conscience.
Again as we look back further we find that word has another connecting root of (tugchano) of one discharging a javelin or arrow.
To reach, attain to. Obtain. Get…become master of.
We have to look at the target, the goal or the vision that is important to us, our ideal.
As we fight for what is the truth, so we beat our soul into submission. It is an inner fight as we allow our conscience the freedom to be used by the Holy Spirit.
From ideal … to conscience:
Our ideal, or should we say the highest level of priority, vision or standard of morals in our lives
is the major influence upon our conscience. The conscience tends to evaluate its decisions on the conviction of the strongest voice within. If the ideal in life is more powerful in ones life than the Word of God it will tend to be swayed by that ideal.
Morals
In listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit within us as He promotes of the Word of God, the morals that are formed in our conscience are born of His ways and not the worlds ways. If the conscience listens to the voice of any other “ideal” it will form morals attached to that ideal, hence the statement of:
'His will, in my conscience
His will, in my reckoning
His will, in my mind
His will over my will'
Listen to the conviction of the Holy Spirit within your conscience, weigh it up and apply it to the decisions you have to make. Here is where we gain the inner strength for self control, the fruit of relationship with the Holy Spirit. It starts right here in the conscience. Having a good conscience is so important to each of us. Do not switch it off, but listen to it and be encouraged that the Lord will use it to help us to stand.
Pray for a release of our conscience to more openness of the Spirit, that anything that raises itself up against the will of the Lord will have to come down. I pray you will be strengthened in your inner fight for holiness.

Our Will brings us Blessing

Romans 7.15-25 to 8.6 speaks of the law of sin and death and the spiritual laws of God, His divine order of things.We constantly have an inner battle to fight if we are going to choose to go God’s way.
What I want to do and will to do are two different things.
God works through our will, not our wants.
He supplies our needs, not our wants.
Most times, ‘I want’ is me looking for something coming in to me.
’I will ‘is often an active flow out from me. So exercising my will over my want is a decision I have to make; God has given me this freedom to choose whether or not to act on my free will.
Greek meanings of ’will’ in the New Testament include:
• To have a purpose; that which I determine shall be done
• To have in mind; to intend
• To be resolved
• To desire
• To love
• To take delight in; have pleasure
• To know in the mind what ought to be done
My will is the response from the whole of my life, reflecting and acting on the desire within me. My will has to be activated by an immediate response of obedience. If I do not act on it, the desire will weaken, be challenged and may turn into a negative power. There will be a hardening and corruption of God’s leading within me, possibly leading to deception and mis-understanding.
If we know the right thing to do and do not do it, that becomes sin. We have not been obedient. I will then suffer the consequences of disappointment and condemnation because I did not respond as I should have done.
Whenever the Holy Spirit’s conviction comes to us, our whole character is softened so as to obey.
Obedience brings its blessing, and disobedience brings its own loss. It is better to never hear the truth than to hear it and refuse to obey.
We must determine to take the initiative and obey the truth, to never hesitate regarding God’s character at work in our lives. We must remember to protect our own will by taking our first thought captive, which will most times either hinder or enhance our second, deeper thought. Never postpone a Godly decision, because the second thought about it will often be a deflection from the first.
When concentrating on His Word, allow the deeper thoughts to penetrate the will. We have to speak to our mind and soul and tell it ‘THIS is good for you, receive it.’
We have to set our mind on Him and His ways. The only true way to know His will is to do it; simply to do what He says.
This often has to be an aggressive stance to the stubborn parts of our mind and soul.
For example, a runner wants to win a race. He or she trains, prepares their body and mind, commits to self effort. Likewise, we accept God’s will in our lives and commit our will to see His power manifest in our winning the situation.
Who would want to try to be a Christian? Certainly not a spiritual Believer. We can not be a Christian by trying; we are or are not a Christian. Likewise, if the call of God is there in your life, we have to give it our total commitment.
When we say ‘yes’ to Jesus and His will, we accept God as our Father, we accept His Holy Spirit in us, and we accept His Word and will too.
Then we gain the benefits of God’s kingdom and spiritual power beyond anything we have ever had before, and an everlasting love and support for us. We live the life by His power and not ours. We feed our new spiritual life with His spiritual food, and we grow. We must act on even just a little bit of understanding, and as we prove it as being God, we go for more. Our mounting experiences of obedience to God help us to really know God’s voice. All of this is activating my will to do His will.
Is Jesus alive in you?
Then do as He did and find what He found, the love of the Father, the will of the Father and the life of the Father.
If our intention is to obey God rather than just hear Him, then the Spirit of God opens up the ability for us to respond. Moreover, we gain more insight into who He is.
As you respond to His will with determined intent to follow it through, so you will receive more instruction or direction from Him, because your will is more than willing to submit to His divine order and calling of you. Jesus said to the Father ‘Not my will be done, but yours’
‘I want this’ or ‘I want that’ is so often short sighted; a ‘give me now’ attitude or even selfishness. Romans 8.28 encourages us that as all our circumstances are allowed by God, they are ultimately there for our benefit, often to refine and develop our Godly character, not meet our wants.
Only the pure in heart shall see God, understand God and enjoy being obedient to Him. Further insight comes to us when we are pure hearted and working out God’s will in our lives.
If we follow after self motivated activities, we will find it very difficult to hear any of God’s leading. Until we turn from our own desire to do His will, we will struggle in our decisions.
We must say ‘not my will but Yours be done’.
His conviction of what is right and wrong is always there in a Believer. Freedom of our will is God’s gift to us. Submission to His will is our gift to Him.
Good discipleship training turns the disciple from our own way to God’s way. A preacher or teacher has to bring people to a place of doing something. When I pray for you, you have to exercise your will to respond to God.
Now let Him know what your will really is.

Understanding the ways of God

The result of the fall of man has affected the way mankind relates to God.
Communication in a spiritual way was broken.
We started seeing with our eyes and hearing solely with our ears.
People do not see God, do not hear God. Or know Him intimately, He is so loving, caring, faithful to them.Being able to see what is in God’s Spirit is essential for the spiritual life of His family.
Discerning the inner spirit comes from knowing the Spirit.
You will not really know another person without spending time with them.
…you pick up on their wisdom and their understanding.
You begin to discern the real life that is there deep within. Not just the surface.
Be able to read the heart of that person, what they really think.
What makes them tick. The real life deep within.
The real life,… born of the Holy Spirit - Has been prepared for us to live.
Communicating from our inner spirit to His Spirit.
How do we do this? Is always the big question.
It is lived by communication and by the desire of our will.
First, my will has to be willing to submit to His ways.
The word of God will not be opened up to us by His Spirit, if we are not willing to receive it.
We will not have the power to live it, if we refuse to abide in its conditions.
The measure you give of your life to the Spirit, will be the measure you have of Him.
This is part of the divine order, the ways of the Lord.
Likewise…No repentance, then we are not forgiven.
If you do not forgive others, then you will not be forgiven either.
Discerning the ways of God, you will discern the will of God.
You will discern the heart and will of man by the way they live.
What is in the heart of God and man will come out.
Discerning the things of the Holy Spirit will come from understanding the H/S
Understand the will of God by the word of God…. Revealed by His Spirit.
If you do not understand it… then you have to search His heart for it by talking to Him.
Ask and you will receive …. Searching His will by having a clean and pure motive.
We gain the power of the spoken word by submission to it. To His Ways.
You cannot say to a demon of lust, Go from this persons body, if you are lustful. Unclean spirit. Resentful.
No willingness to deal with sin will weaken the power of the word in you.
The word is not weak, but your spirit will be. H/S not weak…but you will be.
There can be no compromise, if we want to see spiritual things.
Sin closes the window to the light, we will remain unable to see, until repentant.
If you do not see the ways of God, nor the will of God… then ask yourself why.
Before discerning the spirit of others, learn first to discern your own.
Do not try to judge others until you have finished looking at your own life.
1 Cor 2:6-10
God actually holds back certain wisdom until we get wise to His ways.
Less we hinder the work that He is doing.
V9 There are things that he has prepared in His heart to reveal to you.
V10 The Holy Spirit longs to bring truth, give discernment, wisdom etc.
BUT do we love Him enough to handle some things that we will see and understand?
How far do you want to go in submitting to His ways?
How far will you go?
Share the truth with a friend?
Will you speak out in tongues?
Will you cast out a demon from a persons life?
Will you be a voice?
Will you say it as it is and not compromise His ways?
You will ! great… then your discernment will increase, your power will increase.
Get ready for more supernatural wisdom to be released to you.
Insight is on its way. The window is opening to the light again.
You will see the heart of heart of God for yourself.
You will find His ways for your own life rather than others helping you.
For He will lead you into all truth.
The church as a whole is not a bride as yet, it is still immature.
It is not ready for birthing yet, it is still a child, in adolescence.
Childish in behaviour, still growing up.
BUT the time will come when the bridegroom will say “Come up here all you who have made yourself ready, washed your robes in the blood of the lamb, who have submitted to the purity of the word and the work of the Spirit, come”

Walking in the Light

Jn 8:32 Know the truth and the truth will set you free.
Believe a lie and it will hold you in its grip
DO YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH?
New age people say “that truth is relative to what you want to believe”
THE TRUTH IS living in the reality God. This is the Christian’s walk, and life.
We cannot make excuses for not walking in the light as He is the light. (1 Jn 1:7)
Luke 14:16-24 Many will make excuses as to why they did not walk in the truth, light.
V25 –27 love God above everything / everyone else or we cannot be His disciple.
Are we filling our lives with Godly things, Godly thoughts, Godly ways?
IF NOT, then when we come to pray, this worldly negative stuff we have filled our minds with will come to the surface and rob us of knowing and hearing from God.
If we have filled our lives with the word of God, had time with His Spirit, trusted and relied upon the heart of the Father, then these things will come to mind when we pray.
Then the relationship will be built, and we will know that we walk in the light, because of fellowship.
We cannot be HIS disciple without laying down the old life and living the new life in Christ.
Faithfull AND true written on our foreheads in a spiritual way, for all to see. (Rev 19:11)
Relationship with the Holy Spirit brings more love, more joy, more peace, more patience etc.
Fleshly living brings grumbling, quarrelling, disputes all basic instincts of the flesh. Selfishness.
• Heb 12:14 1. Pursue peace, with all men
• 2. And sanctification for without it no one will see the Lord, meet with the Lord.
• V 15 3. Do not come short of trusting in the grace of God
• 4. Do not allow any roots of bitterness to cause trouble for you, and be defiled.
• 5. Do not be immoral.
• 6. Do not be GODLESS, be filled with His life and ways
For when they lived without God and Godliness they robbed themselves of the blessing of God.
Revelation of our position in Christ as an individual is essential.
Living by grace and love. Give the same and you will be blessed.
You are the gate-keeper of your life, see to it that only Godly things have influence in your life.
Being a Christian, is more than just knowing of Christ, it is living the life of Christ.
Instability, weakness, double-mindedness, unreality is caused by indecision to go fully God’s way.
Does God has priority over your lives?
IF NOT, what is your excuse?
If Yes, He does have priority, wonderful. Then His life will manifest in and through you.
You will know the fruit of that relationship and others will see it.
They will know that you are His disciple, because you have the characteristics of God in your life.
The very best thing that you can do in life is to give your life to Christ Jesus and leave it with Him to work it all out for you.
Do not grumble about what is or is not, as you see it, get on with living His life in you and see the glory of God be seen through you.
It is more important and gives priority to God to press on into more of God for yourself, than to always be making excuses for what you do not see.
In time we all will reap what we have sown, the life of Christ manifest to the world.
If you don’t pray, you will not stay… the course of life.

A Life of Love

I have been speaking recently about the love flow of God, and His sweet words to us.
I said “Intimacy creates a sharper sword. Grasp this revelation for yourself.
I am in love with Jesus, and He with me, so I am going out on a date with Jesus.
Taking me places to show me off to others. Proud of me, loves me, pleased to have me as His own.
Are you willing to be taken out to be seen with Jesus, to speak sweet words about Him?”Take every opportunity to speak about Him, because you love Him SO MUCH.
This week on the street, I had a wonderful time of sharing the love of God to others
Rev 3:2-3 wake up to the fact, that you need to do something in regard to what you have heard.
Strengthen what you have retained, for the deeds that are to be done are not yet completed.
What has remained of what you have heard? Continue to proclaim it.
Believe it, live it, and make it seen…this is what I believe. I am saved, I am His.
OR WE WILL GROW WEARY OF OUR WALK OF FAITH IN GOD
Isa 40:28 I do not grow weary or tired of you, My understanding of you is so great.
Ps 139: 17-18 How can I stop loving you, when Me thoughts are continuing all day about you.
Ps 139:3 Because I am acquainted with all of your ways,
I know all of your thoughts and all of your personal ways.
Ps 139:13 Was it not Me that created you and formed you in your mothers womb

V15 It was no mistake, Me making you in that secret place, to be who you are.

Ps 139: 16 I had a specific purpose in mind when I made you, for I have written the days of your life in My book before there was one of them.
That was for Me to love you, whom I created, and for you to LOVE ME.
The Spirit of God is saying to us:
It is not your commitment to church, It is not your availability, It is not your finances that I need,
It is not your prayers that I need, It is not an existence in you. All these things are right and true, BUT MY desire is to live a life of love with you, will you come to Me and give Me the desire of My heart.
I love you, I love you, I love you.
DO YOU KNOW HIM TO BE LIKE THIS? SO LOVING.

Sweet Words

Romans 8:1-13
There is a love flow of God in us and through enabling us to serve others.
The words that I give to you are eternal.
With a new heart comes a new voice. We do not speak how we used to speak.
He has given us His word, here it is, it is for you, do you want it?“I give you MY word, and you can trust it.
Can you give Me your word that I can trust?”
Being born again releases a fresh attitude, coming from our hearts within.
Something that is flowing from the heart of God within.
Something good, special to Him.
Are all the words we speak sweet words to Jesus’ ears?
Does He long to hear us speak? Can He not wait to spend time with us to hear the words of love and encouragement flowing from our lips to Him and others.
Does He then not long to give more opportunities for folks like this to share His love and life with others.
Does He use the foul mouth, negative and aggressive person. No, who would want to listen to them anyhow?
The difference between our opinions and our revelation can be miles apart.
Worldly opinions are formed by reasoning of knowledge we see with our natural eyes and listen to with natural ears.
We then reason things out and come to a logical answer.
Our experience can be a major factor in the decision making.
This will bring about a worldly wisdom. Sometimes good but not necessarily God.
The spiritual person seeks for the wisdom from God’s heart searching through relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Relying on, and trusting in hearing His voice as the good shepherd who will lead us into all truth.
We then have to test out our own motives for the use of this knowledge.
We have to allow the Spirit of God to bring it forth in the same character that it was given, Jesus way, love being the root and the motive.
What is not brought forth in love does not flow from God.
What is not brought forth in the right Spirit, is not from the Holy Spirit.
All of you have to test out the heart that you listen to. Testing me today.
What is this doing to me, what am I receiving here, is this the Spirit of the Lord?
Or is it some other spirit power?
If it come from some flesh activity it will only touch flesh.
If it is a mind thing, it will only touch the mind.
If it is born of the Spirit of God it will accomplish what God wants it to do.
God is love and always speaks of grace and care for others.
The love flow of our Lord Jesus was always meant to be for you and out to others.
Two key things He is doing with us right now.
• 1. Calling us into a greater depth of intimacy
• 2. Taking what we have out to others.
Intimacy creates a sharper sword. Grasp this revelation for yourself.
I am in love with Jesus, and He with me, so I am going out on a date with Jesus.
Taking me places to show me off to others. Proud of me, loves me, pleased to have me as His own.
Are you willing to be taken out to be seen with Jesus, to speak sweet words about Him?
Word given Friday Prayer time 17th July 04 at C/S
“I am opening your hearts to be a transparent people, for all to see.
I am preparing a people for Myself.
Do not be concerned of what you feel you do not see, but focus on who I am and give glory to what you do see happening. Do not take your eyes off of Me as I prepare you for what is ahead, be patient and you will see the desires of your heart fulfilled.
My plans are to prosper you. Have I not given to you and kept you.
You desired a place of your own and here you are in that place, have I not provided this for you?
Have I not given you the finance as you have had need of it?
You have a body around you, a team of people to encourage you, a family in which you can trust.
I have given you a freedom that others would love to enjoy.
Yet now in My provision for you I am unfolding a mystery, things that you cannot see as yet, but you will see it. It will be opened up to you.
There is a pending storm brewing, yet be assured that I am watching over you and that I am for you, and will see you safely through. Only through trusting Me and putting your assurance in Me will you stand this testing time. I will be protecting you because of My love for you. Be aware of those who seek their own way of doing things, ask of Me, search My heart for your success, for My way is the way of growth and prosperity in the work of My Spirit”

Love Flow

John 13:34-35 a new commandment, it is a commandment to LOVE.
Not by your gifting, your abilities, your intelligence, your anointing,
BUT YOUR LOVE.
Ezek 11:18-19 …and will put a new spirit within you .. new heart.
A heart that will know Me, one that will contain Me.
You will be My habitation, dwelling place. Where I AM - Is love.
The Greek word for abide is “meno” it means to settle down, to remain
To be at rest in His love, settled, at peace in Him.
I want you to remain in My love.
Submit to this love, He will be able to create a new fresh place within you, a realm where God rules = the Kingdom of God.
From within this place where God is allowed to rule all things are possible.
Here your faith grows in an atmosphere of love, an area well protected.
No-one can touch this spiritual kingdom within, it has been given to you.
Only you can allow this Kingdom to be released from within.
No other than you or God can move the power outward, from within.
This place of intimacy, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, is where revelation is birthed,
from where the rhema word comes forth.
This is the place of words of knowledge,
The prophetic is seen.
Where prayers are birthed,
Where anointing flows from.
Where tongues speak from.
Where desires are birthed, where we minister from.
Where wisdom flows forth, understanding received.
Faithfulness leads to fruitfulness.
Ps 1 says blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him, he will be like a tree firmly planted by the waters...and never fails to bear fruit.
Isa 30:15 In repentance and rest is your salvation,
And in quietness and trust is your strength, BUT you would have none of it.
Matt 11:28-29 come to me all of those who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and...you will find rest for your soul
This actually gives some suggestion of inactivity, stillness, because Jesus wants to be our life and that is in Him alone. But its not passive.
The problem is always us, because the human heart is prone to perpetual self reliance and stubbornness.
TAKE My yoke upon you, …. And you will find rest for your souls.
A changed life is always shown by its fruit.
Rest shows in us, it reveals the character of Jesus at peace and at rest, Him as shalom peace.
Tim 4:7 train yourself to be Godly, for Godliness is of great gain / value. Being at rest is being Godly.
It’s of great value being at rest as God is.
Our simple discipline is to pursue Godliness, Holy Christ-likeness.
God is never troubled, and so can we be free of worry.
The way forward for us is :
Bring intimacy into relationship with the Lord.
Create time to be with Him, the one you love.
Choose a pure and simple devotion to Him
Guard the heart to keep it open and listening to His words of love.
Block the voice of doubt, that steals away the love.
Build on what you already know of His character
Keep yielding to His will and His way.
Its not about getting things from God, to better your life, its not about information, BUT revelation, of His place of rest with in us, and all this is for Him.
For us to give to Him a new love, a renewed life
It is this transformation of the inner life, born of the Spirit, that is the greatest life to live
The attitude of the heart is more important than any method you use to meet with Him.
Acknowledge that the Lord is always ready to meet with you, wherever you are, and wherever you are at spiritually.
Take time to purify the heart, only the pure in heart see God. Matt 5:8
Do not focus on getting something from God, but for God to speak.
Relationships today are mostly because the people give something, but we need to be available just to listen, giving worth to the speaker, God.
It is in our giving away everything that is precious to us to the Lord, that enables Him to give us the real treasure of His life.
When there nothing between us He can give us more of Himself.
No idol or anything that resembles an idol, anything that has a higher place than Him in life. Home, friend, husband, wife, money, appearance, habit, ministry, calling, desire for more gifts etc.
You can give away the joy of ones senses, for the depth and reality of the spirit.
This will release His joy into yours and make your joy complete.
Your joy will not be complete outside of Him. Only in and through Him, and by Him.
Impartation of Himself into your life. Spirit to spirit overflowing into the soul and body.
Love is God revealed, manifest into this earthly life.
Happiness is created by external sight, real joy that lasts is knowing Him and His Joy.
Happiness can be lost where circumstances change around us, but the Joy of the Lord gives us strength no matter what we have to endure.
The love of God, not the love for God, within with the joy that comes from the Spirit of God will see you through the greatest trial.
It will remove the power of isolation, loneliness and despair.
It will rule over the roots of rejection, and fears of rejection.
Because His love carries an acceptance within it.
Because it contains your heart in His hand, the treasure that you are to Him.
No devil can touch you, steal from you for His eyes are always on you.
His thoughts are forever looking with favour to help you.
Seeking ways of giving you presents, gifts of revelation, words.
Love is the healing power to every sickness, every wound. Love is beyond any estimation, far far greater than anything earthly. It knows no boundaries, no time, no distance, no conditions.
He will fight for your eternal presence with Him, do everything He can to see you through.
Will You?

Pressing on Into More of God

In any step of faith there is risk, we never have 100% information. We always need a % for faith to flow in.
Always need seeking, knocking and searching for.
A robe to lay around our shoulders, a mantel or yoke to carry the presence of the Lord.
We are to be a healthy, Biblical body of believers that will have more influence in the community.
• There is an accountability to this healthy body, to keep it healthy.
• There is an accountability to the Biblical, Spiritual body.
• There is accountability to the vision God has given us, to see a Church where people can find hope.
• To see a growing Church that will change the Spiritual climate of the area.

More involvement with the community.

• We are showing our colours to the people, what we believe.

We still have the same vision as always, to see God glorified in this area.
Vision only changes if it is fulfilled or fails.
Some are quick to point out their dislikes, and their opinions, but not with the right spirit.
They are normally the ones who do not come to pray, or speak about holiness, are making excuses for their sin. In other words a cover up for ungodliness.
Encourages are wanted, not discouragers “puller downers”
Stumbling blocks have to be removed from your lives, personally and here at Church.
Encouraging the people to live holy lives.
Motivators, builders, servant hearted.
Obedience is at the beginning of any vision, do what He says.
We are here in Birchington because of that.
Obedience is the progression of the vision, in doing what He says.
Obedience will be the fulfillment of the vision.
Obedience to His calling and using His gifts will give new wine to others.
Gifts unlock the Church’s future, to be able to see prophetically.
What value do you put on the love of God? highly of course, RSVP is required.
What value are the gifts of the Holy Spirit to you?
Gifts can unlock the door of many a closed heart, with words of knowledge, prophecy, encouragement etc.
Follow the Lord in the vision or there will be division.
Preaching and teaching the word of the Kingdom will bring the Kingdom fruit.
It is a Holy Kingdom with a Holy King, who has Holy motives and gives Holy fruit.
If we continue to preach the divine principles and do what He says, we will see it manifest from within. He will build His Church.
I would love to see all of you see the richness of living by His divine principles.
They are out of this world, in God’s hands.
‘My house will be a house of prayer’, What value is this to you?
Listen to this call from the Spirit of God to us from the letter to Timothy.
1 Tim 1: 5 “the goal of our instruction is LOVE from a pure heart, and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”
v10 deal with anything that is contrary to sound doctrine.
V18 fight the good fight with the prophecies previously given you.
1 Tim 2:1 with much prayer.
1 Tim 3: watch out for the devils’ tactics.
1Tim 4:6 constantly nourish yourself on sound doctrine.
V14 do not neglect the spiritual gifts given to you, use them.”
WHY do all this?
2 Tim 3:1-17 to be equipped for every good work.
God is setting up our future for us to stand with Him.

• From being a believer, to a disciple, to a saint, to an overcomer.
• A church with Vision.
• A disciplined body, individually and corporately.
• A serving Church, first The Lord, each other, then the community.

Free Methodist grew last year by 100, 000 new members world-wide.
Now in 67 countries.
It is moving forward in spreading scriptural holiness, and keeping Biblically correct.
There are no short cuts to living scriptural holiness.
There is no substitute for it, it is the best way of living.
It’s the easiest, the most rewarding way and it is living the truth.

Reality - Being Real

Heb 11:6. believe that He IS, and that He rewards those who diligently seek HIM.
Being real about life, with no pretence, no acting.
He is who He say He is, do you believe that He is who He says He is?
Do you simply believe what you have heard about Him or do you know Him personally?
To you personally, is He who He says He is. Do you believe all that He says?
What is a thought or a dream compared to the reality of Christ? If you know anything of the inner life, you will confess that our highest, purest, and most enduring joys must be from the fruit of the tree of life which is in the centre of the Kingdom of God within.
Heb 12:1-3
A great crowd of witnesses. We have the reality of another realm about us, an angelic realm.
Watching, observing on The Lord’s behalf.
Protecting, guarding sometimes helping us, is this real to you, or far off. It’s true!
Therefore He makes requests of us:
Lay aside every encumbrance. Hindrances that rob us of the reality of Jesus Christ, alive today
Now He lives, here with us. Living in His word, by His Spirit. Listen to Him in it.
High Priest bore the iniquity of the holy things he wore upon his forehead the words, "HOLINESS TO THE LORD:"
Jesus bears our sin, He presents before His Father's face not our un-holiness, but His own holiness.
We need to see by the eye of faith the grace of our great High Priest,
Then we can see the reality of truth.
• 1. Lay aside every encumbrance which entangles us, wraps around us. Entwines like ivy.
Let us run with endurance. Keep going, not stepping back from our responsibility before God
We have A calling to live what He has given us, salvation.
If I have it, I am to live it, if I really want it.
Don’t live it? then we put no value on it, we will not have it. 2 Thess 1: 8-10
Be real about your faith, live it. Show to all I am a REAL believer in Jesus.
• 2. Heb 12:1 endure because it is set before you, you will have to run and endure.
Cannot escape it, we have to know Him and His power to be able to win through.
• 3. By fixing our eyes upon Him, who will perfect our faith and us.
Jesus saw the joy following the cross, and it gave him strength to go through with it.
You may have to suffer a little, but what lies ahead in eternity for you - Paradise.
Endure the reality of this life in Christ, endure hardship. BUT keeping looking to Him.
Fix your eyes on Him, not on problems, not on others.
Whether you like it or not, it is just between you and Him. That’s the reality of it.
Your life and Him, no excuse about any other person. Your life and His life.
Un-conditional forgiveness on both sides, you forgive others and He will forgive you.
• 4. From v 3 (Heb 12) Now consider Him who endured such hostility by sinners = imperfect people.
Folks who are not there yet in understanding of His Holiness.
Or the life to live, as maybe you do.
• 5. Do not grow weary, for there is hope. There is more of His life to manifest in you and others.
The evil one is seeking to weigh you down with his lies.
Remember, stay in the truth. GOD IS REAL. HE LIVES, FOR YOU.
• 6 v4 You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin.
Well, the truth is, He has for you.
Then should you not strive also against sin? Should you then not help others.
Come then strive to live The Life for others, be real about your faith.
I am only perfected by the work of the word of God that is accepted by myself before Him.
I have to say to myself am I willing to pull the plough and not look back?
We can review our communion with Jesus, and find no regrets of emptiness there; there are no dregs in this wine, no dead flies in this ointment.
We would rather have one mouthful of Christ's love, and a sip of his fellowship, than a whole world full of carnal delights.
No wine can rival the love of Jesus.
Nothing you have given up is worth anything as far as His love is for you.
• 7. Do not neglect our private devotions, and allow lethargy, coldness, sleepiness, and vanity make a mountain of dead works and words.
If we looked deeply we should find this iniquity to be far greater than appears at first sight.
What is the chaff compared to the wheat?
What is the sparkling paste to the true diamond?
No spring yields such sweet water as that well of God which was dug with the repentant heart.
The Reality of all truth is that He is the only One who is worth anything to a saved soul
Time and eternity will show and proclaim that He is our only true delight.

The Power of Holiness

Rev 5:1-14 The revelation of Jesus to John.
Jesus by His Spirit is always willing to give His revelation to you, if you want to hear it.
Taken captive to Patmos, John taken aside to hear what God had to say to him.
God will allow circumstances to come your life to help you to listen to Him.
Pray that you will always be willing to hear what He has to say to you. Desire to rsvp.
V2-3 No one was strong enough to open the book and break its seals.
Not needed physical strength but spiritual strength, the character of God, His Holiness.
For you to open and listen and respond to Jesus requires a Spiritual strength.
A strong desire to know Him and all that He is. The Holy God.
V5 The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David has overcome and is able to open.
What had He overcome but sin, death and the world.
He had the power even as a man on earth to rule over sin and death and a desire to serve God.
The power is found by choosing to live a Holy life without sin, death and worldliness.
Make friends with the worlds’ ways and we make ourselves an enemy of God. Weakens life.
V9 He was found worthy because of what He did.
Holiness works against all ungodliness.
V 10 A priesthood to reign. A Holy Priesthood, A Kingdom of God.
Holy character, priests who can see through the eyes of the Lord.
Face to face with Him. Nothing evil in their hearts. Godly people who love to serve.
These folks will see through the power of sin and the world, its’ motives and strategies. Only they will see the prophetic clearly.
These will see the rebellion of worldliness and sin and choose to reach out to God.
Those with eyes to see, look for and pursue Him for a touch of His Holiness.
He loves to be loved because of His Holiness, loves to be desired for who He is.
He loves to be enjoyed, accepted and honoured.
Loves the intimacy of the oneness of His Holy Spirit with us.
He hates spiritual adultery, flirting with the world and its half hearted attempts to satisfy us. Does not last.
He hates the things of the world that steal away our love from Him.
Acting in a natural life rather than the spiritual life robs Him of the real life He gave us.
Marriage is to be shared openly and freely same for Him with us.
Free to love and care for each other, giving spiritual freedom because He is Spirit.
Not a worldly freedom, not a sensual freedom, that steals away the trust and purity of love.
Love Him? Love His character? Love His Holiness? Love His faithfulness? Great
We are betrothed to Him, He is faithful, we also are to be faithful to Him.
There are no short cuts to finding God and His Holiness; it will cost you much.
The rewards are great. The persecution and pain will be much. WORTH IT? YES YES.
V14 Four living creatures cried out Amen. Amen. Amen.
So be it. This is my will. My desire is ‘Yes Lord Yes Lord. Your way, Yahweh.’
“Be still for the presence of the Lord is moving in this place”
Where are we going as a church? First where have we come from?
We are not what we were this time last year, we are different, so we have handled change.
We have moved into something more of the freedom of God.
Do not back off from the work and change of the Holy Spirit.
Learn to flow with Him, we are going the way of the Holy Spirit.
We are now attached to a movement of Holiness, and such we shall be.
This is not legalistic or religion but freedom of the Holy Spirit.
It is this Holiness that carries the power to open doors that were not able to be opened before.
Seals, agreements against us will be broken because of the move of His Holy Spirit amongst us.
Restrictions have already been broken and a move of God is happening, Satan has seen it.
We are opening up to more of His presence, so this will reveal sin in the church.
It will reveal worldly ways and fleshly desires.
It will show who is and who is not willing to fight through.
The freedom is more now than ever before, if you have a problem with this, it is with you and the Lord. You have a problem with the Holy Spirit, not the Church.
If you have not brought forth in the meeting times together words to encourage the body, prophesied as from the Lord, built up the body then you have no spiritual right to condemn, criticise or speak badly about His Church body.
I suggest you spend much time with Father before you talk to others about it.
He could save you a lot of trouble and pain.
Will YOU help us to find this love of and for His Holiness?
Help us to find His love and grace.
Help us in doing that which is born of the Holy Spirit.
Help us to deal with any hindrances to the freedom and Holiness of the Lord we love.
Help us to fulfil the purposes of why Jesus came, to destroy the works of the evil one.
Help us to promote the Holiness of God over the worldliness in the church in this nation.
Help us to find ways of touching this town and this area with this God of Love.
Help us to support those who have need of living the life of Christ in the Church.
Supporting each other from being drawn into the world and its ways.
Help each other from natural reasoning to spiritual insight and understanding.
Live the life of a born again believer.
Are you really born again, letting the Holy Spirit reign in your life?
Are you dedicated to serving God and His Holiness?
Then say Yes to God and begin to see things open up to you.
You will see seals of the past being broken and a freshness of the Spirit in our lives.
You will see clearly into the prophetic view of God through His eyes.
What a day for change for us all as we say ‘YES LORD, YES LORD, YES LORD.’
Living creatures here on earth Father are saying to You, ‘Amen Amen Amen.’

Knights of Malta

The Knights of Malta are a Roman Catholic Secret Society, with the Pope at its head. The Knights of Malta also go by the name of Hospitallers. As in freemasonry, members at the lower levels are heavily involved in good works, and possibly unaware of the activities of the inner core members. The Hospice Movement, RNLI, British Red Cross, St John Ambulance Association, Franciscans, Dominicans and Jesuits were all born out of the Knights of Malta.The Knights of Malta have over 11 000 members worldwide. Members are in all walks of life eg banking, politics, CIA, P2, religion, education, UN. On 24 August 1994 they were recognised under Resolution Number 48/265 as an Observer Member of the United Nations.
The Knights of Malta have expanded during the last 40 years. Foreigners and non-aristocrats are coming under the supervision of the Pope. The vision of the Order is to safeguard at all costs the pre-eminently religious character of the Order, which is considered supreme, essential and indispensable (address to the Chapter General of the Order, 7 March 1989). This implies that the Order is returning to its full religious aims, which, in addition to establishing the supremacy of the Pope, is a view that the Knights replaced the Jews as the subjects in the Bible (eg they are the Root and Branch of David).
Knights of Malta today have three different divisions: (The Knights of Malta, HJA Sire p273).

• 1. This has been in effect since the 12 century. They are a religious order of the Catholic Church. Members at this level take vows of chastity and poverty (not absolute – they traditionally renounce their freedom to dispose of property).
• 2. Since 1960 they have incorporated a religious institution for laymen who are bound by promises of obedience to their superiors. They are bound only by the religious promises (not chastity / poverty). They take a year of probation under a spiritual director, then an oath of obedience to the Grand Prior or other superior. They are under obligation to hear mass and receive the Sacraments regularly, and to be active in the life of the Order.
• 3. An order of chivalry conferring knight or dame titles, mostly on Catholics, but also on non-Catholics of high standing. These members’ financial contributions support the works of the Order. Obedience to Catholic teaching is required. This is the largest section of the Order, and there is a growing responsibility to uphold the religious and hospitaller (charitable) works.
Individual membership of the Order must be supported by the Sovereign Council in Rome, and all members give of their services voluntarily.
Gary Kah in En Route to Global Occupation, page 109 states: ‘false ecumenical / interfaith unity being promoted today by the World Council of churches – an organisation that is strongly influenced by Freemasonry – is nothing new. It has been used for centuries to try to further the cause of world government. As long as Christians do not unite with the peoples of other religions, there can be no world government. This unwillingness of Christians to compromise their faith has been the chief obstacle for the conspirators’.
Knights of Malta swear to work towards the establishment of the New World Order, with the Pope at the head. Their first allegiance is to the Pope, not their own nation or denomination. In 1952 an alliance was formed so Black aristocracy (European nobility with esoteric aims), Illuminati, The Vatican and Freemasons would all work together to bring in the New World Order.

What does God say about the Land?

Joel 2.18 ‘then the lord became jealous for his land’ Land reflects his character and glory. 2 Chron 7.14 ‘if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land’
Humble means if it is not God, it doesn’t happen. It is not by man’s strength but by the Holy Spirit.
Uncleaness
All that is unclean has to be cleansed before God can use it again. God will not touch the unclean.
If you defile something, you cleanse it. If we sin we repent and cleanse through blood of Jesus.
Land cursed
curse = to render powerless. To make infertile.
Every curse hinders God’s presence. Look for what caused the hindrance

Much spiritual opposition to our churches can be revealed by Spiritual Mapping.
Jesus knows all that is going on in our churches and cities. As we have the mind of Christ, through the Holy Spirit we too can gain insight into what is effecting our towns and cities. Spiritual Mapping is the discipline of prayerfully looking into both the natural and spiritual realms to gain insight into the cause and effect of problems manifest in our neighbourhoods. We are then better equipped to resist the enemy and for prayer action.

An Introduction to Spiritual Mapping

From Genesis to Revelation, God reveals that we are in a battle - a battle for souls; a battle for holiness in our lives; a battle for God’s ways over any other. The Kingdom of Heaven is taken by force (Mat 11.12). It is through battles that our Godly character is developed and through battles God’s Word, His will and His promises come to pass.

Spiritual Mapping is basically the discipline of looking around us to see what is being manifest in our environment. Being aware of the work of the evil one helps us to pray more effectively, making way for God’s will to be manifest.

• Spiritual Mapping is research to know the battlefield
• Spiritual Mapping is initiated by God in response to a need
• Spiritual Mapping enables us to pray more effectively

Spiritual mapping helps us to get to know the spiritual characteristics of our area. The history and geography of our town influences its development and current characteristics. The people who lived on our land in past eras will have left their physical and spiritual marks. For example, there may be modern sculptures or perhaps tourist attractions commemorating say Celtic gods. Likewise, contemporary people groups will bring a spiritual climate to our towns, which will again be reflected in public buildings. Also humanistic ideas will be marking our communities, perhaps in architecture or graffiti.

• Spiritual Mapping is observing the natural realm to see what is happening in the spiritual realm.
Spiritual Mapping is a discipline within Spiritual Warfare. Before entering in, we must ensure we have a right relationship with God our Father and each other, being in submission to local leadership. These are part of our protection. We must have wisdom in acting on the information we have seen. We must be sure we are in God’s perfect timing in our prayer actions - otherwise we may do more damage than good.

Actually compiling the research data is a spiritual exercise in a serious battle ground. Remember, the personal and corporate protective and offensive weapons of our warfare include:

• Living in the flow of God
• Submission
• Obedience
• Enthusiasm
• Praise & worship
• Effective prayer
• Prophetic action
• Power evangelism
• Strategic warfare

When you do come to pray, bear these truths in mind:
• Man is born with a sinful nature
• Holy Spirit convicts of sin
• Man has free will to choose or reject Jesus Christ
• Man is personally accountable to God
• Bible states that no one comes to Jesus Christ unless the Holy Spirit draws
• The Holy Spirit, not the Church, has this job
• God shows His power when we obediently pray

Submission- brings power and authority

Titus 2.11 - 13

To enter in to spiritual warfare, for ourselves, family, Church and locality, we must have an understanding of power and authority.
Luke 9.1-2 ‘then Jesus called together the twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. And he sent them out to announce and preach the kingdom of God and to bring healing.’ Jesus gave power and authority to his disciples.
Acts 1.8 ‘but you shall receive power (ability, efficiency and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.’ All believers can receive power from the Holy Spirit. Power is the ability, strength and might to complete a given task. Authority is the right to use the power of God. A policeman may not have physical power to stop cars, but he has an authority from a higher person to do so. Likewise us, when we learn to use it properly.
Mat 8. 5 - 13 the centurion who appealed to Jesus to heal his servant understood the principle of power and authority. He was under authority and he gave orders. He knew that a word from an authoritative person was all that was needed for a task to be carried out. ‘Lord...speak the word, and my servant will be healed’ (verse 8).
We have not always learned to give or receive orders.
We have a tendency to think that the key to maturity and power is to be good. So we then focus on our behaviour. This never reaches Jesus’ standards of righteousness. This is struggling in our own strength. We must simply ‘be God’s’. For Him to talk to us and for us to obey. To do His bidding. Then we will change from the inside. We will get new ideas and desires. We will quickly repent of sin. We will hear God more, listening to His voice rather than plans and programs. They don’t work. We will concentrate on doing God’s commands. We will be His disciples.
Super human effort will not achieve what Jesus did, works are simply performed through us. We are channels for ‘Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven’. We must learn to hear and then to obey God’s commands.
Then we will be in a place of power and authority to carry out His plans and purposes. We will therefore see success in the spiritual warfare He directs us to.

Often repentance is in order before the battle can begin.
Standing in the gap for those who do not understand.
Without repentance there is no forgiveness of sin.

Speaking out what God has given.
Bringing the prophecy into being by acting out God's word.
Putting my body & soul into what my spirit has received.
Why do we enter the Spiritual Battle?
To show to the people of the world that He is who He is -
Grace & Justice
Mercy & Wrath
Love and hater of sin - because of what it does to us.
• Rev 15:4 "For thy righteous acts have been revealed"
• Ezek 36:22-31 To prove that He is Holy in the sight of mankind.
As He is drawing His people the Jews back home to Israel,
so He desires that all should come to Him that He might take them to be with Him.
Same principle in our hearts to prove His will. It is the only thing we have to prove.
Thy will be done.
What can we do? We can prepare for His coming. Us first.
Holy Spirit preparing us.
We can prepare for His presence to be made known.
• Matt 16:1-4 To prepare His way. Look at the signs. Discerning the times. Look at the sky.
The sign of Jonah, Nineveh, go tell them. If not who will tell them.

The Need to Fight

We all know we need to fight to keep the fullness of all that we have received from the Lord. 2 John 8 ‘Look to yourselves, that you do not loose what you have worked for, but may win a full reward’. Yet how often have we experienced passivity within the Church? We do get tired, disappointed or overwhelmed by our experiences. It can be so easy for a negative attitude to slip in regarding our understanding of the spiritual realm. The church at large is under constant attack which we all agree is increasing almost daily. No longer is it politically correct to stand up for the truth of God’s Word. Yet is the Church standing up and resisting the enemy? Despite all the pain and torment resulting from sin, generally speaking we are failing to fight against the powers enforcing it.God intended us to have a glorious freedom in the Spirit of God, but we children of God are living at a lower place that God intended for us.
It is so easy for us to adopt a negative attitude as we witness the collapse of moral standards and see increased lawlessness around us. How powerless we can feel when, for example, we read of the advancement of strategies to ‘protect us from hate crime’.
But a person with a negative attitude will never conquer and take possession of their inheritance. The Kingdom of God is established in us by force, or confrontation, not by passivity. Even if we are born into a wonderful Christian family, and do not embrace the ways of the world, we still have our old sin nature inherited through the forefathers all the way back to Adam. This inherent ability to sin (also known as iniquity) is borne in our hearts, and will take an aggressive act of our will to overcome. The devil is only moved by a power stronger than himself, be it his nature in us, or his effects in our communities. We must understand that all that God has given to us does not automatically remain in our possession - we have to fight to keep it. God’s promised land (Joshua 1.2 ‘now proceed to cross the Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the Israelites’) was to be taken by warfare - the act of destroying the enemy and all his associated abominations. Joshua’s and the Israelite’s victories over the kings of the land are recorded for us in Joshua 12.7-24. However, before victories were to be won, the people had to be circumcised (Joshua 5.2). Circumcision represented the removal of the carnal or flesh life of God’s people. It was a humbling process to be taken before God would exalt them. Similarity with us, before we win our victories in spiritual warfare, we must circumcise the desires of our flesh, being daily conformed more and more into the image of Christ Jesus. We must win victories in our own lives before we can conquer enemies in the land or in other people’s lives. We must be humbled by learning not to rely on our own understanding or intuition, but on Almighty God’s Word and the voice of His Spirit. This is our parallel to God’s command through Moses that Joshua, a man seeking God’s ways, doing God’s acts, leading God’s people, that we should not turn away from the path God directs (Joshua 1.7), and as we constantly think about what God desires from us and for us, so we will remain focused and will see success. The victories are ours as we remain obedient to our God, for it is by His power that they are won.
So whether we are looking at a personal, local or national problem, without a fight, we will not win.
When Jesus healed the sick and expelled demons, he confronted the kingdom of darkness. As we believers are part of God’s Kingdom, so we too are at war with darkness. The enemy has had several thousand years to perfect the building of his kingdom of darkness and his strongholds. He knows the nature of mankind, and exploits this to the full. As new creations in God’s Kingdom, we develop spiritual eyes to understand and discern the signs of the times and the wiles of the evil one. So we have a responsibility to both expose and confront the enemies’ camps. These are no holiday camps. This work is a responsibility upon each one of us, and it does take sustained effort. We are each personally responsible firstly for our own lives and secondly for our own families. It is not our pastor’s or best friend’s job. Neither is it something to be received effortlessly in a prayer line. It is constant hard work and valiance. Sometimes it is right to give thanks and to praise God for who He is in our lives. At other times we have to actively resist evil and lay claim to the promises of God. It may take time to be manifest, but every time there is a confrontation, the Kingdom of God wins. Furthermore, we are each personally responsible to the corporate body in an area and we need to do our little bit of exposure of and resistance to the enemies’s works. In any given area, be it highly localised or national, only God’s people, His body on earth, have the authority to confront the kingdom of darkness. This brings each of us into a corporate responsibility to do all that God our Father has asked of us. It may be just two of us agreeing on earth that God’s will in heaven be done; it may be sustained inter-Church prayer meetings. It may be action taken by the leaders. God’s ways are limitless, but we must be prepared to hear and obey His voice.
Jesus Christ broke the power of Satan over us, Colossians 1.13 ‘ He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son’. 1 John 3.8 tells us that ‘the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil’ when ‘He disarmed the rulers and authorities’ Colossians 2.15. But we have to enforce this right by dealing with the presence of the enemy. Israel failed to defeat all the enemies as they had been commanded, and they suffered because of it (eg Judges 1.19-21). Judges 2.1-4 tells us that this became a problem to the Israelites. Similarly, the church must deal with all enemies, or they will effect us. They will effect our mind, our will, our emotions, our body. They will effect the land we live upon, our communities, including our church families and our nation.
Firstly we have to accept what God has given to us. Then we must posses it as our own. Then we must obey His word with no compromise. We must submit to God and all that He has given and imparted. We must resist all that is ungodly, rejecting it and kicking it out of our lives and Church.
Ephesians 6.10-12 teaches us to put on Christ and His nature ‘be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His power’, and to oppose the onslaught of the enemy ’ Put on the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil’. Does the Church consider this necessary, or does she fail to teach believers to stand in the defensive weapons that are the nature and Word of God? We must be living in God’s imputed breastplate of righteousness in every aspect of our lives. We must know, love and obey the belt of truth that God’s word proclaims for the rest of our effectual Christian walk rests on this. Without appropriating God’s righteousness and walking in His truth, we will not see the victories in our personal and corporate warfare.
2 Corinthians 10.3-4 tells us that ‘the weapons of our warfare are not merely human, but they have divine power to destroy strongholds’. Clearly we must totally rely on God’s wisdom and direction or we will be fighting in our own human strength, and at best will probably wear ourselves out.
Forgiveness must constantly be practiced in our lives ‘so that we may not be outwitted by Satan’ (2 Corinthians 2.11).
Truth - in our honesty and integrity, in our standing on the Word of God and our faith in the God we have not seen with human eyes, these truths are the basis of our deliverance from the evil one. There is no other way to be free. The devil is a liar, but sooner or later we recognise his tactics. How often he seems to go just that little bit too far, and expose himself. How often he comes to us very subtly, but leaves because he has roared like a lion. The devil is the father of lies, and we can not afford to be ignorant regarding his tactics. Jesus describes this in John 8.44 ‘the devil was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies’.
Paul encourages us that ‘we are not ignorant of his (Satan’s) designs’ (2 Corinthians 2.11). We, as a spiritual people who have put off the old carnal nature, live in a growing Godly discernment of the enemy, for it is God’s will that we should not be ignorant. For this He has given us His Word as well as life experiences. Throughout our Christian life we can expect the evil spirits to challenge us. We must expose their work by a stronger power - that of Jesus Christ. The cross is the focal point of this defeat. We must, in Jesus’ Name, destroy his works in our own lives.
There are many sick and defeated people in the body of Christ. Many have never had deliverance from the sins of the forefathers. The average Church has very little teaching on deliverance. The enemy is allowed to have his way because people do not know the difference between the presence of evil and good. In Psalm 110.2 we are told to rule in the presence of our enemies. This is never a passive calling.
We show who we are by the way we live behind closed doors, when the drawbridge of the Englishman’s castle is drawn up and bolted. Are you a warrior? Are you fighting?
Join with God and see him defeat the enemy for you. When we fight we gain the victory.
Victory is on our lips and in our lives.

Eastern Star claims to be founded on the Bible

Eastern Star claims it is founded on the Holy Bible, and is a Christian organisation. They intentionally teach that Freemasonry and Christianity are compatible. The five degrees are said to be named after Biblical women, but documentary evidence shows that the self confessed founder, Rob Morris, originally chose the names of Greek goddesses, with them later changed to align more with the Bible. The fifth degree is called ‘Electa’, originally named ‘Arame’ after the Greek goddess. Electa, Eastern star teaches, is the elect lady of 2 John 1. However, she is not named in the Bible. Electa is a Masonic tradition.2 John 1 "the elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth."
According to Eastern Star Electa was originally a pagan who worshipped idols; she converted to Christianity and despite possible persecution herself, opened up her home to persecuted Christians, and shared her wealth. When she was threatened with death for confessing Christianity, her and her family were protected for many years by Masonic friends. It is claimed by an old Eastern Star ritual book that Electa was a friend of St John (the Apostle) and the wife of Gaius, a Past Grand Master of Masons. It is claimed that on his death, another Christian was chosen as Grand Master.
Eastern Star claims that the apostle John was a Patron Saint of Masonry, a pillar of the early Church, and the man who succeeded Electa’s husband as Grand Master of Freemasonry. They declare that early Christians owed much to Masonry, for their principles united them together, and protected them from enemies.
This is far from the truth. The spirit of Masonry was behind much persecution and martyrdom in the early Church.
St John is said to have named the degree after Electa in order to keep her memory alive.
It is a deliberate act on the part of Freemasonry to teach that Masonry and Christianity are compatible. They have to some extent succeeded in the public eye, not least the church. Despite the exposure of Freemasonry by Church men such as Charles Finney in late 19th century America, there is a rich heritage of Freemasonry within the established churches of both UK and America and beyond.
The Elect Lady of 2 John
The apostle John (the writer of the gospel bearing his name, the three letters of John and the book of Revelation) had ministered to the Churches in Asia Minor (present day Turkey) which are named in the first three chapters of the book of Revelation. In the gospel of John, the apostle calls himself ‘the disciple whom Jesus loved’. Here in 2 John he calls himself ‘the elder’. This term may have been an affectionate name by which he was known to his ‘parishioners’, or it could be the identity of an apostle or original witness to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The letter is addressed to ‘the elect (or chosen) lady’. There is no direct evidence that the Greek word ‘eklekte’, translated ‘elect’ or ‘chosen’ was a personal name. It could be a personification of a Church, in the same way that the Church is referred to as the ‘Bride of Christ’. Grammatical evidence suggests that the message is directed to a community of believers. These could well be the ‘children’ referred to in verse 1. As an old man, the apostle John frequently addressed the congregations as ‘’my little children (see 1 John 2.1). As an older man, John repeatedly spoke of the love of God, stressing love as the foundation for Christian life. Indeed Jesus Christ himself warned the Church at Ephesus to resume their love – for God, for fellow believers and for the lost. This is followed with a dire warning of the Church being closed down if the fullness of love in their midst was not resumed. It is not, therefore, unreasonable to make the assumption that John in these letters is using endearing terms of affection to his audience. However, John was well aware that not all professing Christians have cultivated a character in tune with God’s desire for them.
"Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ, but goes beyond it, does not have God; whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the son." 2 John 9
This verse strongly suggests that one time believers can wander from the truth, being seduced by heresy or doctrines of demons. Today we see evidence of believers with a strong message for the Church overstepping the mark of common sense and sound Biblical doctrine. It is one of the enemy’s tactics – if he can not silence us, he will try and make us go ‘over the top’ and hence loose both respect and impact for our message.
If we go beyond the truth of the Bible, we have in effect left God behind. We are then functioning without God and the Holy Spirit’s direction. We will then have effectively lost our relationship with God.
John warns us about false teachers amongst us declaring heresy. "Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh; any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist!" 2 John 7
We could not have a clearer warning than this! It is nothing new to us in England – we are familiar with apostate church leaders giving Christianity a bad name in the public eye, and mocking the truth of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection.
But by no means is this letter all negative - "I was overjoyed to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we have been commanded by the Father" 2 John 4. If we love God we will show it by obeying his commandments (1 John 2.3-5). The greatest commandment is to love one another. "And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments" 2 John 6. All else pales into insignificance without love (1 Cor 13) and becomes a work of the flesh, devoid of the full power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus in Revelation 2. 4 warns the Church not to abandon, or turn away from their first love. This is a threefold love – of God, of each other and for the lost. This is not just an emotional love, but a love that is outworked from our hearts in obedience to God. It is a heartfelt expression of the love we have received from our Father God, which then springs out of us to effect others. This love of God for believers is found throughout the writings of John. Of all the writers, he perhaps had the greatest revelation of love. If you need this touch of God in your life, read his first letter, then pray to receive from God for yourself.

The Eastern star is a fraternal organisation which was founded to satisfy the curiosity of wives of Freemasons. It is a Masonic organisation which claims to be based on teaching from the Bible.

Each Chapter must be presided over by at least two men, so it is open to both men and women. It is aimed at adult women who are related by birth, marriage or adoption to a Master Mason.

Rob Morris certainly developed the Fraternal in an original way. His successor, Robert Macoy, through financial abuse, encouraged massive growth in The Eastern Star throughout America. There are currently around one million members worldwide.

• What do Eastern Star members do?
Eastern Star meetings include an act of worship, and salvation by works is implied. Through ritualism and stories members are encouraged into deep fraternal bonds with one another. The stated purpose of each Chapter is ‘charitable, educational, fraternal and scientific’.

• Why are Christians saying this organisation is ungodly?
As Bible believing Christians, we are of the opinion that the Order is founded on the distorted and mis-interpreted Word of god, with the deliberate intention of leading ignorant women into the snares of Freemasonry.

Freemasonry is a form of Baal worship, drawing on the same spiritual roots as false religions. This is incompatible with Christianity, and brings spiritual death and decay.

• Why is Eastern Star not compatible with Christianity?
The belief that The Eastern Star is a ‘fine christian organisation within Masonry’ is simply not true. Singing Christian hymns, naming Jesus and learning that good works are a ticket to heaven is not true Christianity, it is a religion. True Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The main aim of chapters is to make more members. The main aim of Christianity is to see people set free to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

Freemasons take oaths that are in denial of Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross. As the Father of Freemasonry is Lucifer, anything done in the name of Freemasonry gives glory and worship to Lucifer.
To agree and continue with the doctrines of freemasonry, one can not hold genuine spirit led Christian faith, for they are opposing spiritual forces.

The Organisation of Freemasonry in England

It is declared that, in England, the Grand Lodge of Masonry was formed in 1717. Freemasons claim their Craft is based on traditions going back 3000 years. The Grand Lodge of England, overseeing almost all English Freemasonry, today has around 300 000 members in nearly 7700 Lodges. Membership of the lodge may, to some, provide comradeship, a philosophy or a way of life. Middle class, middle aged men are the typical target group for membership. Men’s Freemasonry is divided into two branches, the York Rite and the Scottish Rite. The Scottish Rite advances to 33° and the York Rite to a comparable level, but degrees are named, not numbered. The first three degrees, known as the Blue Lodge, are common to both Rites, and the majority of Freemasons do not progress beyond this level. The York Rite is proclaimed as the ‘Christian’ Rite, and hence the rite professing Christians will be encouraged into. It is not unknown for there to be ‘Christian’ lodges for members of the clergy. Basic information on distribution of lodges is readily available on the web.
Jesus is, however, omitted from the first three degrees of Freemasonry. These same degrees symbolise birth, life and death, with a baptism into the death of Freemasonry as the third degree initiation. A Mason of the third degree is known as a Master Mason. The first two degrees teach, for example, that God is both male and female and always reproducing, hence the concept of man as a ‘little god’.

Freemasonry is also known as The Craft; The Brotherhood; The Order; The Fraternal Order and The Lodge. Membership of the lodge may, to some, provide comradeship, a philosophy or a way of life. Mackay, a well known Freemason and writer, in the Encyclopaedia of Freemasonry page 618 states ‘Free Masonry is not Christianity’. Therefore we can conclude it is a false religion and therefore incompatible with Christianity. For Gal 1.8-9 states: ‘But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that one be accursed’. In this Paul Makes it clear that false teachers teaching a different gospel from that preached by Paul and found in our New Testament, will face eternal judgment.
By definition, all religions have a god, an object of their worship. Freemasonry does not acknowledge the need to confess or acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and True God. Freemasonry is not a relationship with a loving, living God as Christianity is, but is a ritual devoid of the atoning work of the cross of Calvary.
A Freemason takes oaths, his understanding of them and adherence to them varying, largely based on how far into Freemasonry he has progressed. As each oath is taken, it is not understood by the candidate. Freemasonry purposely conceals truth about itself to the majority of not just outsiders, but members too.
Freemasonic practices and oaths declare such concepts as:
• The Fatherhood of God for all men.
The Bible states that men have either God as their Father, or the devil. John 8. 41 ‘...We are not illegitimate children; we have one father, God himself. (verse 42) Jesus said to them, ‘If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God... (verse 44) You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father’s desires’.
• Freemasonry is a means of salvation.
At the lower levels of Freemasonry, and in many of the women’s organisations, anyone professing Christian beliefs will typically be told that Freemasons will go to heaven at death, and those outside Freemasonry will not.
Jesus in John 10.9 states ‘I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved’.
• Good works lead to salvation and hence heaven.
Ephesians 2.8-9 clearly states we are saved by faith ‘For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God - not the result of works, so that no one may boast’.
• All religions can lead to God.
Acts 4.12 states ‘There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved’.
• Jesus is not mentioned, and religious discussions are forbidden in the lodge.
In Matthew 10.33 Jesus reminds us ‘whoever denies me before others, I also will deny before my Father in heaven’.

Anglo Israelism

Summary: Anglo-Israelism (also known as British Israelism) is basically a replacement theology which makes England into God’s chosen people, inheritors of the blessings promised to Israel. Historians have traced this theory back to 1519, but it likely predates this. Anglo-Israeli doctrine is openly followed in England by some churches as well as political groups and some promoters of the New World Order agenda. Anglo–Israelism today claims to have three million followers in England, Canada and the British Commonwealth, and hopes for more!

The Jews are generally despised by Anglo-Israelis as evil people who forsook all their responsibilities and blessings as God’s chosen people. Supposedly, by mixing with heathen people they became a false thirteenth tribe, opposed to true Israel. It is further alleged that after the fall of Jerusalem (AD70) they mixed with the Khazar tribes of Turkey after the latter repented to Judaism.

What are the basic beliefs of Anglo–Israeli doctrine?
• Following the Assyrian Captivity the ‘ten lost tribes’ of Israel eventually migrated as Anglo Saxons to the British Isles.   Therefore Britain (and hence USA) are significantly populated by the ten lost tribes of Israel. It is believed that the Jews living in Israel at the time of Christ were under a curse for having rejected Him, hence the lost tribes became the inheritors of the blessings promised by God to Israel. The two sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, are the major inheritors.

• Ancient Judah and Israel are seen as two distinct groups. The term ‘Jew’ in scripture is said to apply only to the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin, not to the ten tribes of the House of Israel. So the terms ‘Israelite’ and ‘Jew’ are specific and not interchangeable.

• That the "stone of Israel" of Gen. 49:24 was the pillow used by Jacob and carried by him into Israel. When Nebuchadnezzar invaded the land of Israel in 606 B.C. the daughter of Zedekiah (King of Judah) fled to Egypt with Jeremiah the prophet, taking the stone with her. From Egypt it was shipped by Jews to Ireland, then to Scotland and was subsequently used as the coronation chair in Westminster Abbey. Although now back in Scotland, it will be made available for future English coronations. It is said by some that Jesus will sit on this stone after his Second Coming.

• Biblical references to the stone or rock eg ‘the stone that the builders rejected’ are taken to refer not to Jesus Christ, but to this ‘Jacob’s stone’.

• The English throne is the ‘Throne of David’.

• Jesus Christ was not crucified, but married Mary Magdalene; they migrated to England and English royalty are their descendants. There are traditions that say that Jesus spent much time at Glastonbury, also the supposed site of the first English Church.

Some of these extreme beliefs are instantly recognisable as Merovingian beliefs, consistent with the teachings of the Da Vinci code.

When has Anglo–Israelism been popular?
There is early church teaching which supports the theory that the British monarchy is related to the Tribe of Dan. Anglo-Israelism links back with both Jewish and Christian Kabbalistic personalities of Elizabethan England, such as Sir Isaac Newton and John Milton. During the days of the British Empire, Anglo-Israelism was very popular; it was believed that Britain was inheriting the blessings of God because they were Israel. The British Empire was believed to be the Kingdom of God on earth.
Anglo-Israelism has in more modern times been popularised by Herbert W. Armstrong, founder of the Worldwide Church of God. This fact should cause any discerning Bible believing Christian to question its’ legitimacy. In 1995, after his death, his church publicly declared that they no longer believed or taught it.

However, it may come as a surprise to many that it was believed and hence influenced pulpit teachings of George Jeffreys, founder (1915) of the Elim Pentecostal Movement. We must remember that Jeffreys, a ‘convert’ of the Welsh revival, was living in a time prior to the return of Jews to their Land, and restoration of the nation of Israel. If Israel were not in existence on the map today, no doubt we too would have a very different interpretation of prophetic scripture and current world events. Very few Believers prior to the 20th Century took the view of the restoration of Israel literally. Jeffreys wrote a tract entitled ‘Three Schools of Thought’ (available on the web) which outlined the 3 alternative views of ‘Israel’:

• the Jews are all Israel
• the Church inherited the promises made to Israel, so is in reality spiritual Israel (traditional Replacement Theology)
• The Anglo-Saxons are Israel

Jeffreys made it very clear that he believed the third interpretation, and he taught this throughout his ministry; furthermore it was taught in the Elim Movements’ Bible schools.
In no way has this stream of teaching gone underground. Although some of its’ beliefs will be readily ridiculed, far more subtle teachings of Anglo Israelism are being actively promoted in the 21st century.

The British Israel World Federation in London declares on its’ web site (www.britishisrael.co.uk) “Without doubt British peoples are descended from the House of Israel and bear the marks of God’s Chosen People as defined in the Bible, and the Federation contends that the contrary view cannot be sustained.” Although their statements of faith and many aims are truly Biblical and not to be criticised, they promote Anglo-Israeli doctrine in a way that is not simply Replacement theology, but appears to be a type of Dominion Theology in a traditional Reformed Protestant context. The following excerpt shows how they use scripture and experience to back up their claim:

Their name shall be great – "Great Britain" – and they shall be missionaries throughout the world. "And I will make thee a great nation, I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed."(Gen. 12:2-3)

What does Anglo–Israelism hope to achieve?
From today’s viewpoint in history: to defeat the Antichrist system of the EU and Popery and with their own Antichrist restore the British Empire as the Kingdom of God on earth.

Obviously we must remember there are always followers of a doctrine who do not fully understand its’ implications, and are simply deceived. May they come into a revelation of Truth.
How do Anglo-Israelis interpret the Abrahamic Covenant?

Adherents state their foundational scripture as Genesis 49 when Jacob divided the birthright. Judah was the only tribe to be called Jews, and they had the right to rule and make laws. Joseph and his descendants received all the other blessings, including all the prophecies and promises made to Abraham.

The Bible states that the blessings of God are received in faith and are not just determined by descent.
Some within the Anglo–Israeli movement believe that Abraham will be resurrected to rule with Christ from Jerusalem. As the Father of many nations, this means that not only will the Jews rule with him, but Christians and Muslims too. This would certainly be a One World Religion!

Where do they find Britain in the Scriptures?
It has been suggested that the Book of Hosea is in fact all about Britain. Jeremiah 31 is said to be about the Lost Tribes, with the ‘isles afar off’ being the British Isles. There are also suggestions that ‘Tarshish’ is in fact Britain. There isn’t anything in the scriptures that could imply that Great Britain is one of the lost tribes of Israel. However, we can not discount historic trade links between Biblical lands and Great Britain.

In Genesis 32:28   Jacob is renamed ‘Israel’, so all those that came from Jacob are henceforward called Israel. In Romans 11:1 Paul states “I am an Israelite, a descendent of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin”. Verse 25 speaks of a partial hardening coming upon Israel until the fullness of the gentiles has come in (v 26). The gentile believers are being grafted into the spiritual olive tree to be with the natural branches. It is therefore clear that there are two classifications of believers, those who are the natural descendants of Israel and the gentile believers who are grafted in.   This is confirmed by Ephesians 2:15 “He made the two groups into one new man”.

A prophetic statement of Eph 2:15 ‘He has abolished the law...that he might create in himself one new humanity in place of the two.’
A coming together of the body of Christ and Jewish believers for a sole purposes of God.
Eph 2:12 - 16 A statement. A prophetic action. A forerunner of what is to come.
Gentiles were separated from the Messiah of Israel
V12 Words like ‘excluded’, ‘strangers’. ‘no hope’. ‘without God’.
V14 Made both groups into one. Broke down the barriers
V16 A reconciling work of the Spirit of God
Putting to death the enmity, the fight that goes on between two factions.

This is the basic level of our work in the Spirit of God.

The foundation on which we build is together, as the one new man.
The anointing for the church has to come from this revelation

Oneness of body soul and spirit.
Two becoming One
It will be recognized in the last days.
Ten people will be hanging on to one Jew Because God will be with him.

V6 Fellow heirs, fellow members, of the body, partakers of the promise.
Chapters 4 – 5 to 6:13
Our strength for battle is found in relationship with Christ Jesus.
The head and the body, therefore with the Jew.
One with Christ is one with the Jew

all the promises He gave to the Jews
A tree stands where it is rooted.
Where are we rooted? In the Jew and Israel.
A spiritual root for a spiritual person
Our genealogy is found in Matt 1:1
Our spiritual life cannot be strong without drawing from the Jewish root and the Jewish book of life.
The church’s responsibility is to bless our roots OR WE DIE.
With no faith coming from the root we will die. We draw as a tree would.
The tree’s bark around the trunk is likened to the law
The grace of God and the blood line of Jesus flows up the Centre.
Jesus fulfilled the law.
The enemy is seeking to get to the land around our roots to pollute it
If he can get the poison to the roots the root will die and then the tree.
We need deep roots to draw from.
Deep into the ground, strong foundations into the word of life.
Not surface Christianity but deep rooted immovable love.
Drawing from the springs of life deep down inside the earth, well below the surface.
Not the outer show but the deep inner depth of life of the Spirit.
We the church have given the right to the enemy to take land from Israel. We have given him the right to infiltrate the soil on which we stand.
He has gained ground from the Commonwealth of Israel.
When? When the church decided it would replace Israel for the church in replacement theology.
We laid our roots open to the winds of the spirit of the anti Christ.
It gave the enemy the right to bring in another state. To claim ground from us.
We gave him ground to move into the church because of the deception.
The church is sleepy, not aware of what is happening.
It has lost hope for the reality of God.
There is an expectation of war in Israel. (written before the summer 06 war with Lebanon).
Therefore there is something of a major attack expected upon the church.
Are we preparing for this in our own hearts?
Do not pray against this war in Israel because God is going to use it for Israel and the church.
What is your response to where you will stand?
Who will you stand with? where you are rooted, with Israel?
Israel does not do everything right, neither do we.
But God is faithful to His people.
Will you stand with Israel despite her attitude towards God?
Then let us proclaim our stand with the King of the Jews,
And say we are with you and your people.
We stand with one heart for our roots.
The head is for us as He is for His land.
We have to take back what has been stolen from us.
God is preparing a day for this to happen.
The Jews will live in their land, all of it as God promised.

1. God has not finished with Israel.

….. I will give you a new heart .. and put My Spirit in you.
2. We depend upon the past present and future of Israel.
Rom 11:17 Remember it is not you that supports the root, but the root supports you.
3. We have all benefited from their fall.
Rom 11:11 Through their trespass, salvation has come to the gentiles.
4. God loves Israel! Shouldn’t you?
Rom 11:28 They ARE (not were) beloved for the sake of their fathers.

The Biblical View of Israel

These notes are taken from the 3 audio tapes given by David Noakes at the Know the Truth Conference. His video has the same teaching.

To understand the state of a nation, we need to understand the spiritual history of it. For the first century and a half the Church was essentially a Jewish sect, and as the Bible was written during this time, it should not surprise us that there is a continuity between the Old and New Testaments, with themes running from Genesis to Revelation. Jeremish 31.37 tells us that Israel is the greatest of the nations. However, she is also a ‘suffering servant’ nation.
In scripture we read of 4 unconditional covenants with Israel (‘covenant’ means ‘to fetter together’) :
Abrahamic Covenant. Genesis 12.
Israel will be a great nation and a blessing to many.
Palestinian Covenant. Deut. 30 1-10
To bring the Jews back into the land.
Davidic Covenant. 2 Samual 7.11
David’s throne will stand forever.
New Covenant Jeremiah 31.31
Amos 9.11 talks of the restoration of David’s kingdom, and Ezekiel 36 of the restoration of the Jews to this land. Through this we see that the restoration of Israel is underway. Ezekiel also speaks of the re-building of the temple, which is yet to come. This will be the Millennium Temple for the Levitical priesthood. Worship will be their principle focus.
However, Satan wishes to place himself in the place of God and there will be both a battle for worship at this temple, and a battle for Jerusalem. As we pray for protection for Jerusalem from the worst of the atrocities ( Psalm 122), we are also praying for the return of the true Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Taking unfulfilled prophetic scriptures, David traces forthcoming events concerning Israel eg :
Daniel 9.26 a battle for Jerusalem
Zechariah 14 Jerusalem falls
Jeremiah 50, 51 Babylon is destroyed
Luke 21.24 the last gentile ruler is Antichrist
David encourages us with prayer pointers for Israel :
For the Messianic communities, especially those in the land. They need spiritual teachers and finances.
For God to limit the acts of terrorism
For the governments of USA, UK and Israel
For Israelites to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
For Allyah to increase.

The Spiritual Olive Tree and Us

Matt 1:1. Jesus was the Son of God, the son of David and the son of Abraham.We the church, the body of Christ Jesus on earth, are grafted onto the Olive Tree that Paul spoke of in Rom 11:20-26. This olive tree has its roots in Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the same root of Jesus’ blood line
There is therefore a need in looking at the things that God is saying in regard to the Jewish nation, because the same spiritual climate that hits at Israel will be the same spiritual climate that hits at the church, seeing that we are on that same spiritual olive tree.
Amos 3:1-3 states that God chose the family of the Jews out of all the nations to bring forth His savour of the people.
Affirmed in 1 Kings 8:53 He has separated them from all other nations as an inheritance.
109 times in the bible God declares that the land of Israel belongs to His people.
36 times on oath to them
16 times He said it was forever
4 times He said they did not deserve it.
If He had said it once it would have been good enough, many times means what He says.
This land, promised to His chosen people, by the Father of Jesus the Son as defined in the scriptures
Ref:- Numbers 34:1-15 Gen 13:14-15 Gen 15:17-21.
It is from the Euphrates to the Mediterranean Sea, from Lebanon to the brook Nile
Joel 3:2 He was quite adamant about the land and said He would punish those who divided up the land.
He said that foreigners could live in the land provided they worshipped the God of Israel.
The god of the Muslim faith says he has no son, so cannot be the Father of Jesus, but a god of this world, rather than the One and only living God who rules in and from heaven.
The church joins the Jews and not the Jews joining the church. Replacement theology turns this the other way and says the Jews are finished so they have to join the church to be a part of God's plan. God has not forgotten His promises to Israel, He would not be God if He did.
There is a river of life flowing in the Spirit of God's in blessing what God blesses and building on the things that He is building. All our needs are met in Christ and in the flow of the Spirit.
The Jews have been a real spiritual blessing to us, now that we are born again by faith imparted through the teaching of the apostles, through the word of God , Jesus the Son of God, the Jewish King is that word of God, John 1:1-6
As the Jews return to their homeland so shall the growth fill the spiritual olive tree, the other branches the gentile church, of that olive tree will also know of the growth in their branches.
One of the major stumbling blocks that Satan has put in the church is the division over where one places the people of Israel in their standing with God.
The Lord God often referred to His chosen nation Israel as an olive tree.
The olive tree right from the beginning has a significance with being something more than just a fruit bearing tree.
God saw it as something more in the realm of the spirit.
Using it's fruit for the light of the minora for the temple.
Using it for the anointing oil for the priests.
Gen 8:11   And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. It was the first to appear above the water
Judges 9:8-9   The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.   But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
It was special in the building of the temple. Doors and frame made of olive wood.
Often referring to people as an olive tree.
Psalms 52:8   But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
God in His wisdom does not change. His attitudes towards His people do not change. For He says " I AM who I AM I do not change. Jesus said I Am the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.   So His illustrations of the olive tree do become the same from the beginning to the end of the age.   Old or new testament God does not change, He is always for His people even if they turn away from Him. He is faithful even when we His people are faithless. The same goes for Israel, God is always faithful to Her, even though she turns to her own way.
The Branch.
Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Isaiah 4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
Isaiah 60:21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
Zechariah 6:12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
There is no reference to Ishmael, Abraham’s illegitimate child, as being part of God’s plan.
The Root
Isaiah 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign (or standard) of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Romans 11:16 For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
olive tree; Boast not against the branches (the Jews). But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
Romans 11:17-19   And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.   Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
Romans 11:20-23   Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
Romans 11:24-26   For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the
natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?   For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness
in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Romans 11:27-29 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Rev 5:5 And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Again no reference to any other faith, or religion. Just the Church, the body of Christ, the offspring of David, not Ishmael. If one is not IN CHRIST, they cannot be with His Father in Heaven.
God has chosen us because of His great love for us and we accept this love and stand upon this love in Christ Jesus. Therefore we stand with those who are with us on this olive tree. By supporting them we support ourselves. We look for growth therefore we help support the root, the branch, the stem and the other branches. We do all that we can to bring help and encouragement to those of the body of Christ and the Jews. If we want to prosper, then we do all that we can to see that the Jews and the church prospers. Not only in our prayer support but also in our giving, our teaching and ministry etc. For this is the purpose of God at this time and season.
Rom 15:27 It has pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
This is being caught up in the flow of God's Spirit at present and He is fulfilling His prophecies spoken years ago, and we are to fight the good fight of faith by these prophecies given us, they are weapons of God's word spoken out that can not be refuted.
Eph 2:11-22 Wherefore remember, that you being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
But now in Christ Jesus you who were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
For He is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us;   Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in Himself of two one new man, so making peace; And that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:   And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.   Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone   In whom all the building fitly framed together growth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
     (Not just built upon the one apostle, but apostles AND prophets.)
Isaiah 49:6 And He said, It is a light thing that you should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be My salvation unto the end of the earth.
These two scriptures make it clear that there is a responsibility to the Israeli people by the church in gratitude towards God for what He has done through them for us.
The Lord at this time is calling His people the branch of the church to help and support the branch of Israel in any way that we can, that the growth may come to both, the Spiritual Olive Tree of His making.
Before the Lord comes again the Jews have to return home as prophesied, by helping them home, we are walking in prophecy when helping them do this, so we reap the blessing of being in God's will and purpose. Being in the flow of the Spirit will also ensure that the teaching within the church will be in that fresh flow of God also.
Isaiah 49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they (the gentile believers) shall bring your sons (Jews) in their arms, and your daughters (Jews) shall be carried upon their (gentile believers)shoulders.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, may they prosper who love you.
Do we have to compromise to gain peace with those around us in the church? No! there can be no compromise of God's word, we have to fight the good fight of faith and keep the ground that we have been given, there can be no back tracking. We are pioneers going onward in faith, to the full maturity of a person in Christ.
We are called to make disciples of Jesus, who do what He does and be like He is.
But God has put us on a firm road and we will not be deterred in any way. We the church have need to rise up and awaken to the work ahead of us and push on into more of God.
Rev 22 tells us to pray for His return. Where will He return to? To the Mount of Olives in Israel.
Will there still be a land of Israel? If the evil one has his way, No. BUT GOD is sovereign.
Nowhere in the scriptures does it mention another way to interpret the word of God, other than by His Spirit. A carnal person cannot see the kingdom of God, let alone understand it. (John 3 we have to be Born Again of the Holy Spirit)
Therefore The word of God, the Bible is opened to us by the Holy Spirit, and is the ONLY way of gaining a true Spiritual life in Christ.
Tradition or reasoning are wide open to human or natural interpretation.
Revelation 22:18-19 warns us about adding or taking away from this book of life.
Be aware of those who add to the Word of God as does the Roman Catholic church.

Keeping a Healthy Mind

The way to gain control of the mind
First acknowledge the need of the Lord, and that it is difficult to do it yourself.
Read Romans 7: 15-25 speaks of some reality to us, it is true “For what I am
doing I do not understand, for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I
am doing the very thing I hate. Therefore I agree with the Law of Sin”
It is not so much my will but sin that lives within me.
A thought that is not initiated by me, and has not been chosen by me is not from my
will but the very presence of sin within me.
Do not be condemned by thoughts that are not chosen by your own volition.
v21 I find then the principle that evil is present within me and I want to do good.
I joyfully concur with the law of God (Holy Spirit) within, yet my body and the
members of my being war against the law of God…giving me real problems.
So who will set me free…thanks be to God…Jesus will.
I then fight the good fight to win the battle of the mind where I agree with God and His
ways and resist my flesh from giving into the law of sin.
Rom 8:1 Therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who…
1. Get rid of any roots of bitterness. Heb 12:15 which can derive from a lack of grace.
Taking your eyes away from God and putting them on yourself, on my hurts
or on what man has done.
Bitterness will make you ill…dries up your bones and causes pain.
It will do you more harm than others if you are bitter towards them
2. Forgive
3. Love yourself
4. Do not justify yourself. Christ alone justifies
5. Do not seek for happiness outside of yourself.
It is never there. Happiness is found within you.
6. Jesus in control of your heart? Then you will be happy.
If the Holy Spirit is happy within you, you will sense His happiness.
1 Cor 13:1-8 Keep a motive of love forever growing.
Col 2:10 because only in His love do we become complete and gain full control of the
mind. The love and purpose of God for man is full control of our being.
The fruit of the relationship with and through the Holy Spirit with Christ Jesus is the
“self” under full control…as Jesus was. Gal 5:23
The mind in control will help to complete the whole man.
1. That complete man is to be like Jesus, fulfilling the office of prophet, priest and king.
Like a prophet… understanding the signs of the times.
As a priest… knowing the Holiness of the Lord’s full character.
As our King… knowing Him as the King of all kings…authority.
2. Characteristics of an incomplete man:
a) Unable to deal with his own sin issues and fleshly situations.
b) High degree of inconformity, inconsistency.
c) Deep feeling of loneliness and feelings of rejection.
d) Inability to maintain a regular prayer life
e) No real relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
3 Recognise that you are a spiritual being, not just a physical and emotional being, and
that you must grow spiritually.
4. Discover your ministry, what is your calling. Matt 28:19-20
5. Learn that you are an important person to God.
6. Put into practice the gifts that God has given you. (We all have them)
7. Recognise the love of God through Jesus Christ for you.
8. Believe that the work God has begun in you, He, himself will bring to completion.
(Phil 1:6).
A Healthy Mind creates a healthy lifestyle.

There are three levels of thought life
1. Thoughts from our life lived in the past
Gained from our experience of our life lived.
The forefathers affect, from past generations.
2. We have the mind of Christ, the word in our thoughts
3. Suggestions and temptations from the evil one.
Not all thoughts are good for us.
We control our lives by controlling the battle in the mind
Rom 12:1-2 Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Keep the mind healthy, and know how it functions and how it relates to the conscience.
If the conscience is towards your desire rather than the Lord, it will lean towards
decisions for fulfilment of this.
It will be drawn to the deepest desire in your life, and in that give signals to the soul
and the mind. Feelings will be released in accordance to this.
The conscience can give a feel good factor, as it sits nicely with your own desire.
If the major focus in your life is your family then the conscience will lean towards it.
Take a radical believer of another faith brought up in his holy books, his conscience
will tend to lean towards His major focus, regardless of what are right morals to others.
His conscience has been trained to respond to what has become the ideal or focus of his
upbringing and culture.
His conscience can be seared by his ideal or wrong morals.
To a Christian Jesus has to be the ideal. Not the church, not the book, not the lost, but
Christ Jesus as their Lord. Nothing else can be above Him and all that He is.
A selfish person who has ideals of grandeur for self will make decisions promoting self
and feel it is ok because of the greater strength of that desire, even in working with God
What is your ideal life, and what are your greatest morals, because this is where your
conscience will trigger promoting of the soul and lead the body to obey.
We therefore cannot trust in just the leading of the conscience, Conscience is not the
voice of God in us. The conviction of the Holy Spirit is. So trust in the Holy Spirit
within has to be strengthened and matured, to have a mind under control of your spirit
submitted to the Holy Spirit.
The mind will stay healthy if we continue to focus first and foremost on the Lord Jesus.
Practice keeping the mind in control…do not let it roam.
Keep it under control by giving it the right attention.
Feed it with the righteousness of the full character of God and it will be a blessing and
not a pain to you.

Carrying the Promise

As we are God’s people we are carrying a promise
Gen 12:3 through you I shall carry the promise to others.
From generation to generation, the promise of blessing will be taken forward.
From Abraham, Isaac and Jacob came the flow of the promise of life for ever more. “I shall be with you and be your God.”
Exod 20:5 …sins of the fathers will give you problems, but in Him you shall have life, real life.(v6)
Rom 10:8 The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.
V9 if you confess it you shall be saved.
Rom 12:1 Offer yourself to God – it is your spiritual service.
From Matt 1:1-2 FF to v22-25 the promise flowed through the blood line and came to Jesus, who imparts it to His chosen people.
Part of the promise was fulfilled in Christ Jesus, it was just a start for the gentiles.
We who have received Christ into our hearts, help now to carry the promise.
There is an inheritance in the flow of all family life.
In this we pass on what is in our lives to the following generations.
It is the life that is in the blood that is passed on.
What blood affects you most, His or your own.
What life affects you most…His or your own.
What are we passing onto our children?…the knowledge of the blessing of God,
the Power of God, because they have seen it at work through us?
Will your future family line receive something good or bad from you?
What is your inheritance going to be to them?
Will your future family need to be cut off from your sin or will they receive the promise of the Father?
What is your impartation going to be?
You say just a minute I am not married, or I have no family to pass anything to.
Then where will you leave your inheritance?
In what you are, in your home and in your church, in your community, your nation.
Whatever you have, and whoever you are will carry something of the promise.
God will be in whom you touch in life, He will impart His blessing.
Is the promise alive in you? Is it carrying something?
Yes / No, then ponder on what worth you put on your inheritance.
Is this great promise of God to bless your descendants being strengthened by your life lived, or is it being weakened?
Will it carry blessing or not?
Is the promise of blessing just a passing word or is it a declaration of His life.
How much shall you impart of God to the next generation.
Is the promise saying something now?
Will it say something to the next generation.
What are we storing up for them?
We trust that it is LIFE FOR EVER MORE.
The life we now live we live by the power of God, to build something of a legacy for the days to come.
We live to serve each other now and prepare for what is happening tomorrow.
Rom 8:12-18 His glory is to be seen now and in what we pass on in the future to
others.
Rewards for obedience…also being passed on.
Pray for a living of the promise of God in our lives.
Pray that it will be strengthened by us.
There is need of something special for the next generation, that will carry the power of God to them. God wants to bless and to build up people…not condemn them, so help to impart the blessing of God in you onto others while you can.

Testing Prophecy

With so many different words coming from various sources in these end times we have to learn to discern what the Lord is saying in it all. We should always test things out and make sure that it is the Lord speaking and not another source of personality. I am more than aware that we can have mixed messages, but God does not like mixed messages because He hates mixed seed; in other words He does not like words that come from bad motives. Messages that are man based are flesh based, they maybe scriptural yet they do not necessarily have to come from the Lord. Any flesh activity promoted by the desire of man rather than led by the Sprit will not be from God, and will be rejected by the Spirit because any flesh activity is like filthy rags to the One who is Holy.
2 Peter 2:1-3 speaks of many false prophets arising in the end times just as false teachers. And many will follow their sensuality and it will create diversion off from the real truth of what the Lord is saying. V 10 speaks of those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise God- given authority.
V 11 daring to speak out what they feel is right and not seeking what comes into their head in the way of thoughts, not taking them captive and testing out what is and what is not of God. Just because it is from the Bible does not make it from God. The Word and the Spirit have to be involved, we could never have Jesus as the word without having the Holy Spirit, because they are ONE. One cannot have the Spirit without having the Word because they are ONE. Just quoting the word from memory can be just oneself speaking out from intellect and not led by the Spirit, your spirit maybe alive in God and like Paul said in…….. I do not say thus said the Lord but I am filled with His Spirit”. Of course we should listen to mature men of God and learn from them…BUT ALL HAS TO BE TESTED. Is it God speaking through them? or it could be just their own understanding or insight. Too many people have been led astray by deceiving spirits using people because the word was not tested and found to be of God.
1 Cor 14:37-40 “If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. Wherefore, brethren, covet to
prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order”.
In other words test the things that are spoken whether it be in teaching or prophecy.
I have a sense that there is a spirit in the world of false prophecy, I see it like this… Jesus is coming soon, we are all agreed on this, yet He is here already in His people as the body of Christ, the church. The anti-Christ is coming in the end time yet he is already here in his followers promoting the new age and the new world order. Therefore we can be assured that the false prophet is already here and is coming, but already using people to divert them from the reality of what Jesus has said in His word regarding these end times. Many are saying revival when the Lord is saying I am bringing judgement onto the household of God on my people in preparation of my coming back to the earth to see if I can find faith in them, a faith and a trust in Me and not man. When I come will I find the fear of God and not a fear of man, which has ensnared so many.
Many prophets have declared “do not come against the anointing of God in their life and bring some injustice back on themselves”. In other words do not test out and prove what I am saying as right or wrong. Before testing any prophecy we should test the prophet, where are they coming from what is their track record, how much mixture was
there? What is their life like before God and before man. No-one is saying that they have to be perfect to prophecy, but if declaring I am a prophet then the gifting has to match up with the fruit of the life lived. One of the fruit of living by the Spirit is humility, therefore each prophet should be accountable to others for what is said. I know of one prophet who after his word of prophecy did not come about, stepped back for two years from the ministry after saying that he had made a mistake because the prophecy was not fulfilled in the time stated. That is what is called integrity, so I would be more inclined to listen to this man’s heart if he prophecies again.
Let us also consider timing in regard to prophecy. We may see something in a prophetic way because of a measure of prophetic insight given by the Spirit for the watchman or intercessor, so that they can pray the will of the Lord into being. He gives understanding along side of the prophetic insight or what He would have them to pray, often allowing them a measure of birthing things through prayer. He will often give to the watchmen an understanding of what the evil one is preparing to do so that they can enter into areas of resistance of evil, therefore blocking what the devil would seek to
do. We would not say these folks are prophets but they do have prophetic insight. They do not speak out so much the words but get into prayer activity in preparation for what the Lord would have them do and also at times to resist the things of the evil one.
In listening over the years to many different “words of prophecy” and testing them to see if they are from God I have been made aware that most are not from God but from the people who have prophesied. We used to keep a book at the church of all the “words” that were spoken “as from the Lord”. After reading this book later I found that only five per cent were genuine words from the Lord, ninety-five per cent were words of encouragement that came from the people themselves to encourage the church into more of God. We have need to understand what is prophecy and what are words of encouragement. Encouragement is not prophecy and prophecy is not encouragement we do need to know the difference.
Prophecy (from the dictionary on the internet says) divine prediction: a prediction of a future event that is believed to reveal the will of a deity. prediction: a prediction that something will occur in the future.- supposed ability to predict future: the supposed ability to predict the future when inspired by a deity. So prophecy is an open window in time ahead revealing some future event that will take place. Then the window closes again and the one who has seen it reveals it to
others of what they have seen that has been given by God. This is clearly what we should be seeing when someone declares “this is prophetic”. Sometimes this can be in a vision or in a dream, and it then has to be tested out by the person themselves and then shared with others so as to ascertain if this is God or not. It has to be tested, weighed on
the scales of balance of how much of the Lord is. Accepting what is of God and rejecting what is not, OR we can begin to accept false prophecy we can open ourselves up to deceiving spirits who will mislead many in these end times, even some of the elect can be deceived.
I can only say that we have need to be more than cautious in these end times of what is declared to be prophecy and what is encouragement. For it all to be tested and shown to be yes of God or no it is of man or from any other source. God may reveal something that is not found in the Bible but He will never reveal anything that is contrary to the character of God in the Bible.
We would all like to hear clearly what the Lord is saying, so let us pray that the Lord will reveal His heart to His own prophets for us. Let us continue to look for Him and seek His face regarding the future. trusting that he will show us and prepare us for what is about to come on the whole earth. “Do not fear neither be dismayed for that which is coming upon the face of the earth, for I am with you, says The Lord. Nevertheless I have a serious controversy with the nations. They are seeking to divide My Land says The Lord, the land that I covenanted to give to Abraham and to his seed after him through Isaac and Jacob, as an everlasting inheritance. This I will not allow without devastating judgment upon those nations who pursue this plan. I have arisen with intense and furious anger and will not back down until I have destroyed their well being. I will cause their economies to fail, and their financial system to break down, and even the climate to fail them! I will turn them upside down and inside out and they will not know what has hit them, whether they be super powers or not. For I am the only One, the Almighty God and besides me there is
none to compare.
Do they believe that in their arrogance they can contradict and nullify covenants that I the Almighty have made? Do they believe that they can change what has gone forth from My mouth with impunity? It is My Word and My decree that has gone forth concerning the seed of Abraham. It will not be changed by man. I and I alone am Almighty. Do not fear!
For this reason a new and a far more serious phase of judgment is commencing. Do not fear, it is I who is shaking all things. Remember that in Me you have peace but in the world tribulation. Trust Me! I am shaking all things so that which cannot be shaken may remain. When all your circumstances become abnormal, discover in Me your peace, your rest and your fulfilment.
In this phase the old and powerful nations will become as if they are third world countries, super powers will no longer be super powers but countries such as India and China will arise to take their place. A great company of the redeemed will come out of these two countries. In all this change, do not fear.
I know your weakness and your tendency to fear, but do not be dismayed at these things. In the midst of all this shaking, this turmoil and strife, there are two peoples that lie at it's heart, the true and living church and Israel. I will use these matters, these events, to purify one and to save the other! Do not fear, above the storms, the shaking, and the conflict, I am the Everlasting and Almighty One. In Me you cannot be shaken, you can only lose what is not worth holding!”

He Rose Again

Scripture readings Luke 24:1-12 John 20:11-18
Mary Magdalene said “I saw Him He is alive”.
Your spiritual insight like mine says as Mary did “Yes Jesus is alive.”
He had been taken into the tomb His body dead, to come out of the tomb to make His body alive.
Nothing could or can hold Him, past present or future.
Jesus was the same person, yet had a new spiritual and everlasting body.
He had been baptised into a new spiritual life, death could not hold Him
The same goes for us who believe we come out of death into a new and wonderful life.
Spiritually speaking, if we do not die when we are alive, we will die when we die, If
we die to self we shall live Spiritually and Eternally.
We have and are dieing to the old self life daily, to gain the new resurrected life.

The circumstances that surround us today are not to get something into our lives, it is to get something out of us, (that is already in us,) it is to bring out the new Christ-like life.

It is to release the character of Christ now alive in us, the everlasting life, created by the Holy Spirit.
It is to release the fruit of the life in what the Spirit of God has established in us over the time we have known Him.

There is a fresh Authority given us…it is to manifest in the new life, and cannot in the old life.
It is the power of God in us through the character of His Holiness.
The calling of God is to manifest in our lives as His true and faithful disciples.
We do this because we see and understand the prophetic view of who we are in Christ,
as we see what is ahead for us.
My spirit within urges me to enter into more of God.
The old life sometimes trying to resurrect itself wants to look back, but we cannot allow this to happen.
We need to keep focusing forward to more of Him and it will help us not to look back.

Ezek 44 The sons of Zadok the royal priest who stood before the Lord, brought the best to God. To them there was no choice, they had to live the new life.

In Christ means you changed from who you were, and what you were. you are not the same old person going on year in and year out.
You now have a new life, a resurrected life to live.
If Christ Jesus has a new life to live, (HE IS ALIVE) and you a part of Him then you too have a new life to live through Him.
God’s strategy for your life in Christ is CHANGE
He says “I will change you, as I am alive in you.” You then can help others to change.

Your life does not belong to you, you have been bought at a high price.
A perfect man died for you and me, a sinless, loving, caring man, a gentle man, a patient man, a healthy man.
This man had great wisdom, vast understanding, He could do anything in the way of
the miraculous, and still does.
This man was to die and rise again, yet prior to that awful painful death He submitted himself to punishment for our sin and our restoration before His Father.
He did not deserve what He got, so that we do not get what we deserve.
He died that we may live.
SO ARE WE LIVING THE NEW LIFE THAT HE GAVE US?
We show our love to Him by doing just that, we show our gratitude by submission to
His way of life.
The value of your life to Him… was His own life… He paid for our new way of life.

2 Pet 1:3 …His divine power has been given to us for us to live this life of holiness, if we have chosen to receive the true knowledge He promised we shall be able too.
We should be bold about what we believe, because it is the greatest thing ever.
It is time to speak up for this great God of ours, be bold in declaring who He is.
We shall not be afraid of man, or the rejection of man.

We have the power of God within to live the resurrected life, enjoy the change and
be blessed with the truth that it is God at work in and through you.
As Jesus said, “Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father in heaven”.
Be blessed with this revelation… HE ROSE AGAIN, HE IS ALIVE.

Monetary Madness

Its three years now that the world has been taken hostage by the financial crisis. And that’s only since it is in the open, because covertly it has been in the making for decades. Countless times we’ve been told its sorted, over, done and dusted, only to be hit again soon after. There is always something new and unexpected coming up, making our financial experts in the corporate world, banking sector and governments with all their evaluations, predictions and assurances look like a bunch of headless chickens.

No matter how serious and logical both ordinary and highly studied people try to explain our monetary system and defend it as without alternative, it just doesn’t add up. Financial and economic teaching offer an array of reasons as to why things are getting increasingly out of control but I prefer to look at it based on biblical grounds.

Here is one such reason:
We won’t find a single verse in Scriptures encouraging let alone allowing us to live beyond our current means. Yet our world-wide taught and applied interest driven money system is based on just that all the way through, persuading us to work with future means, i.e. stuff that’s not at our disposal right now but can be borrowed, in short, debt.

Put simple, if we would work within our current means we wouldn’t have debt and thus would be spared the massive burden and destruction stemming from the debt based financial crisis. Its indeed that simple and holds for private households, businesses, organizations, institutions and governments alike. Stating that progress and development in society would suffer without borrowing must be judged a lie on biblical grounds as both depend solely on God and our obedience to Him.

The financial trouble we face today is not a result of a comparatively few greedy people, although they surely contribute their fair share. The root cause however lies in the man made globally used monetary system that is flawed and corrupt to the bones due to man’s disregard for both God and His principles on how to operate finances and run economies. Consequently we see a host of weird and unhealthy excrescences, generally regarded as clever and logic by most, yet constituting an unrighteous gigantic redistribution mechanism of wealth from labour (paid work) to capital (income without work).
Here are just three of those excrescences:

Since 1971 modern day’s paper money is no longer backed by any tangible assets. Instead Central Banks print and issue their notes almost at will, today mainly in return for government bonds. Thus, just in the past three years we witnessed a massive money expansion of manifold proportions (US$ 3x, € 2x) literally based on debt, false hopes and human predictions, which nobody can guarantee to come true. In short, our cash is solely backed by people’s faith in the credit of those creating it. A very shaky basis!

Interest is the creation of money out of money. Seeing that banks almost exclusively work with compound interest today, monetary assets grow exponentially, doubling in regular intervals with mathematical precision without any physical assets backing it up!

Today’s fractional banking could be seen as the most destructive form ever devised. While allowed to keep only a one digit percentage (2-6%) of their deposits as a reserve, banks can lend out up to ten times (!) the amount of their deposits. So in nine out of ten times its lending money that actually doesn’t exist. The credit interest cashed in by the bank as a 100% income for that means further artificial money creation out of thin air!

Even those who don’t see themselves financially inclined can grasp what kind of monster system mankind has hooked itself up to. The biblical term would be “Babylonian system” or “Mammon”.
The bill for this monetary madness is always passed through from the top down until finally the sum total is dumped in its various forms (prices increases, taxes, levies, charges) as a heavy burden on the ordinary, hard working, income earning, tax paying, already economically suffering people. Could it be that in all our cleverness we miss it somewhere?

“For this world’s wisdom is foolishness (absurdity and stupidity) with God, for it is written, He lays hold of the wise in their [own] craftiness;” (1 Corinthians 3:19, Amplified Bible)

Can I (David Tidy) just add these simple words of encouragement, the way to prosper is to give, because God loves a cheerful giver, one can never out-give the Lord our God.
I remember a little word given me a few years ago which said “What giving again I asked in dismay, when do I stop giving away? Well said the angel tender and true, just stop giving when the Lord stops giving to you.”

A fresh biblical system of banking needs to come into the church to start with and then overflow into the world to change the present failing system.

What a joy to know Him and all that He stands for…

Dear Prayer Partners,

Greetings to you in Jesus precious name.

What a joy to know Him and all that He stands for…isn’t He great, mighty and powerful!!
What a great time to be in the Lord and to see the unfolding work of prophecies being fulfilled before our very eyes. Isaiah 19 speaks clearly of the shaking going on in Egypt foretold before Jesus came to fulfil His ministry through the cross. We certainly are living in the last days. Even the earth itself is being shaken. So many earthquakes and nature is having convulsions, winds, storms, fires are hitting at parts of the world that do not normally have such devastation. Creation is crying out to see the manifestations of the sons of God. We can be thankful to the Lord that He has given us a Kingdom within us that cannot be shaken. We stand firm in all that He is within us and we shall win through these last days with His strength and support. We shall see victories and do great exploits because of His Kingdom active from within as we submit ourselves to His leading and guidance.

When the chaos began to happen in Egypt I sought the Lord of how to pray and He reassured me that the battle was His and to leave Egypt to Him to fulfill His desire for that land. “You” He said “are to pray for My people”…to me that was His chosen people the Jews and His born again church.
He then brought back to remembrance a huge Cobra that I had seen on a nature programme of India. This huge cobra was five to six metres long and fed on smaller snakes, often waiting until the smaller snakes were fattened before devouring them.

He then showed me that the great serpent of old has risen up with vengeance against the nations because they have not submitted fully to his character and created the total destruction and terrorism that he had desired to open the door to bring in his anti-Christ.

I have known for many years that the Freemasonry order has had its leaders in the middle east. Marburak was a top FM and so are many of the Saudi leaders, as well as the King of Jordan, Assad of Syria. Bahrain and Yemen’s leaders are also caught in its web. The FM motto has always been “Order out of Chaos”. The leaders of these nations have not accomplished their calling for the old serpent by the destruction of Israel, and not created the full chaos within the Middle East.

The understanding the Lord gave was that the Serpent of old has risen up to gobble up these smaller snakes that he has used in his strategy to oppress and control the land of Israel, (God’s chosen land for His people.) The other nations are as nothing to Me says the Lord compared to my chosen land and people.

There is a time ahead of even greater chaos as the Muslim world seeks for its 12th Imam to return to be their saviour, who has to come in a time of great terror and chaos. One of the men he is using at this time is Abadinajad of Iran who is intent on the destruction of Israel. Abadinajad is seeking to bring as much terror, as El Qaeda and the fundamentalist clerics of Islam, to create the devastating conditions for the return of their “saviour” who I believe will be the anti-Christ.

This is the counterfeit of the Lord Jesus returning in a time of gross darkness with lawlessness getting stronger nearer the time of His return.

Please make a note of this:-
Jesus is already here in His people by the power of His Holy Spirit, yet He is coming again soon in person and every eye will see Him through the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God is here in God’s people yet Jesus will come and make it complete.
The anti-Christ is also here in his people, given power that he has invested through evil spirits, principalities and powers, yet he will come and manifest in person.

The false prophet is also here in his people yet will come and manifest himself as a real person.
We can also see that the serpent of old is using his people through evil spirits to hinder the growth, purity and Holiness of the church. He is attempting to wrap himself around the church to restrict it from being what the Lord would have it be. This is the same strategy that he has for the Middle East to use the nations around Israel to restrict or even constrict it from being what God would have it be. The “King Cobra” is using the Middle East nations to coil around Israel ready to destroy it.
Many brothers and sisters in the Lord are saying that they feel an added spiritual pressure upon them at this time. God allows a certain amount of pressure from the world the flesh and the devil to cause us to turn to Jesus for our help and assurance.

With all of the spiritual pressure being asserted in the Middle East one can sense a boiling pot ready to explode. It is here that we see Psalm 83 may come into the arena, where the psalmist implores the Lord to confound His enemies. Some of us sense an immanent localised war contained within the Middle East, of which Israel will win causing many Muslims to back off the idea that the land belongs to them. God showing that it was His supernatural power that won Israel its battle. Many Jews and Muslims will be saved through this. There will be a time of peace before the end time scenario explodes from an international battle over Jerusalem.

The persecuted church of the southern hemisphere is seeing unprecedented growth and many new churches are being added daily yet the church in the West is under a cloud of unbelief with little happening in the way of spiritual growth. Maybe just maybe we have had so many opportunities to share the good news and have not lived what God has already given to us, so He has gone to others to see if they will respond to His Spirit. In one way we still sense the hand of the Lord has been lifted over the church in Europe and the Lord is allowing us to see that we are not as we should be.
In my travels I meet with many different leaders, some are open to the things of the spirit, yet many are being bound by the religious spirits of today. Some are more into the business of running a “church company” revolving around money rather than seeing that the people are being build up by the power of the Word and the Spirit.

With the financial crash upon us and more yet to come we have need to focus on the leading of the Holy Spirit regarding money. The Lord asks us to have concern and love for people and not money, any business in the Lord should be focused on their people and not the making of money. As we look to build up the people and see the Kingdom of God manifest in the workers the Lord will supply all that is required to fulfill His part of His business. The business has to be a Kingdom business today or it will not win through the global collapse of the world’s system.

Already plans under the New World Order using the Bank of International Settlement, the International Monetary Fund and others are seeking to remove the USA dollar and the European Euro to bring in a new world wide currency…of which will bring in the mark of the beast, as prophesied in Revelation…… The King Cobra is gobbling up the failed banking systems of this his world and is seeking to control the people of the world through their finances. It is clearly the time to get out of debt and to put our trust in the living Lord who will supply all that we need in His way and perfect timing. It is not time to hoard up wealth as it will be devalued so much, get the full value you can by putting it into the hands of the Lord, let it help build up the body of Christ, invest in His leading and guidance and ensure that it is not helping to build up any other kingdom but His. In this way your money will not devalue being in His hands.
